Oliver KrumPadril and Oliver continue their conversation in the Kitchens, with the Hufflepuff asking questions about Oliver's relationship with his father and trying to provide confidence to the boy. When Oliver reveals his blood purist views, Padril holds his ground and reveals his muggleborn background. Oliver seems to respect Padril more for this and brushes his own lips against Padril's passionately. Krum is immediately struck with guilt and doubt and, while Padril tries to comfort him, he restrains himself from coming out and Krum flees the room. Vivanna VarnesPadril has started attending Ravenclaw Quidditch games to watch his crush play. Vivianna Varnes has noticed this crush and corners Padril during a swim in the Lake. Vivianna blackmails Padril with outing him in exchange for his services. They butt heads and develop animosity towards one another, but Padril ultimately concedes. His skepticism towards Vivianna's rebel cause remains strong and he dismisses her arguments to the contrary.
