Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Quelyn had been searching for Nick everywhere. She wanted to ask him something she found very important. "Nick?" She called running down to the quidditch pitch."Nick?" Everything she would look for would end up being in the last place she looked. "Where could he be?" She asked herself and stopping in the middle of the field. with a sigh she fell down sitting cross legged giving up. she propped her elbows on her knees and her had on her hands. "It's impossible to find one person in Hogwarts." she said to herself with yet another sigh. "I'll never find him." she bowed her head in disappointment in herself.

Nick heard Quelyn interrupt his practice he was worried. She was not supposed to interrupt up him. He landed down in front of her. "When are you supposed to interrupt up me? Not when I'm in the middle of practice. So this better be good" he said with an attitude. Nick never had an attitude unless he was interrupted in the middle of practice. Nick waited impatiently for her reply.

The way Nick acted startled Quelyn. HE had never been rude to her, nor mean. "I-I d-didn't k-know y-you w-were p-practicing," She stuttered, "I-I'm s-sorry," She bowed her head in shame and fear of saying something wrong. She didn't want to make nick angry llike she had her father. "I-I j-just w-wanted t-to k-know i-if y-you w-would t-teach m-me h-how t-to f-fly." she stammered. She shrank back into herself moving to so she hugged her knees. "I-i'm sorry" she said quietly. "B-but i-it l-looks l-like y-your t-too b-busy f-for m-me." She said sadly getting up to leave. she didn't know how to react to a mean nick.

Now Nick felt bad. "Well I suppose. But with flying comes Quidditch. Quidditch is a lot different than flying. You are not playing Quidditch" Nick said, jumping to conclusions. "Anyway I don't believe you have a broom" Nick stepped on Quelyn's foot and measured her leg with his broom shaft. Then he walked over to the broom shed. He got one approximately her size And handed it to her. "This broom is just for you to borrow. It sucks. Brooms have a master, when one is used over and over again by different people it responds and acts diffrently" he explained. There was a certain seriousness to his voice.

"But I want to play quidditch," Quelyn said looking up at Nick, "Why can't i play? I couldn't play with out knowing how to fly first." Nick handed her a broom and told her about how it wouldn't respond to her the way a personal broom would respond to its owner. "Okay," She said letting him she understood. Unsure of what to do now she held the broom loosely in one hand and looked up at nick, waiting for him to tell her how to start flying. She had watched people fly before but this was the first time she had ever touched a broom. This was the closes she had been to a broom.

"No. Do you have shoulder pads? Gloves? Bracers? Cleats? Leg guards? Or a broom? Quelyn you are going to be out there with people five times your size." Nick said coldly. Then he pushed Quelyn to the ground quite hardly, a little harder than her drunk father did. He looked over top Quelyn. "Now imagine that fall fifty times as hard and with a fifty foot drop" he said coldly again before he lifted her to her feet. Then he began to walk away from the pitch, it would take a lot for Quelyn to convince him.

The fall nor the push bothered Quelyn, but it was the person who had delivered it. "Nothing can hurt men." She said harshly as she stood up narrowing her eyes at nick. The eleven year old pulled her wand pointing it at Nick. Her hand shook as she considered casting a spell at him. Her hand shook and the wand fell to the ground. She couldn't do anything to hurt him. "Teach Me HOW!" She demanded, "You will never know what I can do unless you let me do it!" she would play quidditch eventually no matter what Nick said. "Teach me how to be like the you i thought i knew."

Nick walked up to Quelyn. "Listen Quelyn. I'm in a very emotional state right now. You do not want to pull that wand on me or it WILL be the end of you. I happen to have a child with some girl I thought loved me. My adopted daughter wants to pull wands on me and defy me. I know your growing up but there is two things you don't do. Pull a wand on me, and screw with me when I'm angry" Nick said coldly and in her face. He raised his hand to hit her but he pulled the punch when he realized what he was doing. "Let me calm down" he said before he sat down in the stands.

Quelyn stood still prepared for anything Nick could send her way, but unexpectedly he turned and walked away from her. She bent and picked up her wand placing it in her pocket muttering about Cecilia and the child she carried and how they were stupid and ruined everything for everyone. She shook her head and ignored what nick had told her mounting the broom. She pushed off from the ground and the broom hovered a few feet off the ground just high enough that her feet would not touch the ground. Slightly leaning forward the broom moved and Quelyn giggled. She didn't need nick.

Nick was proud that Quelyn did it by herself. But mad that she bothered him. Nick jumped off the bleachers and flew on his broom. He sped right twords Quelyn and knocked her to the ground. "And you want to play Quidditch" he muttered. Then he landed and waited for 'miss. I don't need Nick' to stand back up. Quelyn was such a brat sometimes. That, and Nick was really mad.
