GENERAL APPEARANCE: Viola considers herself to be a very ‘average’ child. She has long, dark hair that falls just below her shoulders, which she rarely puts up; as she likes the way it looks framing her face. She has wide, dark eyes, which crinkle when she smiles. Said smile can light up a room, and can almost always be seen. Her body is that of a typical 11 year old; on the cusp on puberty. A scar can be seen on her left ankle, where she cut it climbing a tree.
Her clothes are whatever is comfortable, and seasonal. Viola rarely ‘dresses up’ and is more comfortable in jeans and a jumper, though is known to wear dresses when the weather permits it. She dislikes jewellery and make-up, and refuses to wear any,

GOALS: Being only 11, all Viola wants to do is live every day as it comes, and explore every part of Hogwarts that she can.
HABITS & QUIRKS:
Viola tends to mumble a lot when thinking, which constantly gets her in trouble when she’s talking to someone. She also chews her hair, something her mother finds disgusting, and would wish she would stop,

DEMENTOR: Once, when Viola was 6, her parents had gone out for the day leaving her older brother, who had come home for the holidays, in charge. Viola, playing outside, had spotted a rabbit, peeking though the bushes. Intent on catching it, she tried to grab the rabbit ,but it panicked, and went through a hole in the fence. Luckily, it was just big enough for her to squeeze through. Unfortunately, for Viola, she had just wandered into the next door neighbour, Mr Carn’s backyard, and was face to face with his giant German Sheppard. The dog was tied up, but it lashed out savagely, snarling and snapping. Viola screamed, frozen in her place, certain she was going to die, until she heard her brother calling her through the fence, coaxing her back. She was terrified for hours after that, and still refuses to go near large dogs.

PERSONALITY: Viola’s personality can only be described as loud. She makes herself known everywhere she goes, wanting to make new friends. She can talk to anyone, shy, easygoing, uneasy, and has a knack for conversation. She’s always encouraging people to try new things, as you never know what you might enjoy. She also likes to drag people along on her adventures, wherever they may be.
Viola loves to help people, and while she can get upset sometimes when people are mean, she hides it behind the big grin on her face, and acts like nothing bothers her; which can get very hard to maintain. She’s willing to stand up for anyone who needs it, and can often get into situations that are too much for her to handle. She also voices her opinions, and likes to be truthful, and while never intending to be rude, people can take offense with what she has say. She hardly ever gets angry, and can normally talk her way out of a situation, but it does happen on occasion.

Early Years: Born to Lionel and Diana Owens, Viola is their youngest child and only girl. She showed signs of intelligence from an early age, but was always getting into trouble, curious about everything and everyone, exploring places that she shouldn’t. Luckily, all this adventuring simply gave her a few cuts and bruises, along with a secret fear of large dogs, though she would never admit this to anyone. Her older brother Isaac looked out for her, being 10 years older. When she was 3, her brother 13, she threw a tantrum dropping him off at Platform 9 and ¾, screaming that she wanted to go with him, she wanted to learn magic now. It took her parents ages to explain how she needed to wait, she was too young, (something she still disagrees on, Hogwarts could have made an exception), and she counted down the days till her eleventh birthday from then on.
Hogwarts Years: When she received her letter to join Hogwarts, following in her parents and brothers footsteps, Viola was overjoyed. She had been around magic all her life, and finally it was her time to learn. She was grinning from ear to ear the whole time her parents took her around Diagon Alley, shopping for all her school supplies, enchanted by everything; the robes, wand, books, brooms. Starting her first year at Hogwarts was going to be everything she ever dreamed of; Quiddich playing, learning spells, making friends; and nothing was going to slow her down.

Viola fidgeted in her chair, earning her glares from the Professor. Well, it wasn’t her fault, what did he want her to do? He was the one giving the really dull lecture. Ugh, Charms was so slow and boring. At least in Potions they got to make stuff, and it was especially fun if they blew up; in Charms all you did was read and wave your wand to make stupid ‘graceful’ spells. Viola preferred her Dark Arts spell casting much better; there was more excitement in that.
Sighing, Viola rested her head in her hands and strained to focus on what the Professor was saying. Something about how to hold their wands or something. She’d been playing with her parents wands, (mostly without their permission) for years; she knew how to hold a wand, it wasn’t that hard.
This was going to be a long class.
