What do you want to believe?

Believe it or not, Zandell really did like animals. He usually hid it from most people because if a guy liked animals, in most cases, he was considered gay. He didn't understand why, but apparently it just wasn't something a guy was supposed to like the way he did. Which is why he now understood why some people thought Jayden Volkov was gay. Zandelle never really spoke to the kid, but apparently he was very open with his liking of animals, and he was considered gay because of it.

In most cases, he actually preferred the company of animals to the company of humans. And he didn't have a girlfriend that anyone knew about, so that contributed to the rumor of him being gay. Zandell sighed, he felt for Jayden, he really did. He wouldn't like being treated like that because he liked animals, that was why he hid it most of the time. Only like two people knew that he liked animals. Sarah and his brother. That was it, pretty much. That's how careful he was with it, only because he didn't want the other guys calling him gay or anything like that.

Normally, he wouldn't care and he would just ignore it. But he really didn't want to get bullied over something like that. It was much easier to just hide it from them all. When he thought no one was around, Zandell left the Hufflepuff dungeon and went out onto the grounds, heading for the Care of Magical Creatures paddock. He spent a lot of time there, though no one really knew about that. The paddock was still filled with muggle creatures from the previous lessons and Zandell approached the paddock as a young horse came forward near him. He put his hand out and the horse rubbed the side of it's head against it.

Faith was head over heels in love with animals, every shape and kind. In fact, she rarely went anywhere without her Pygmy puff perched on her shoulder, hiding behind a curtain of red hair. The only visible thing anyone could see was a pair of eyes sticking out between the locks. Today was like every other day, before classes started, Faith took a jog around the school, after that she went back all the way up to the top of the Ravenclaw tower, changed into some dirty clothes, and went all the way back down to the Magical Creature Paddocks. No one was ever out here at this time of day, so it was the perfect time to be there.

Nereus, her pygmy puff was perched on her shoulder as per usual, as she strode out to the Paddocks to check on what creatures were there. As she approached she hummed a soft tune under her breath, staring up at the sky as a bird passed overhead. It wasn't until Faith was almost completely there when she looked down and saw the boy.

Freezing in her tracks, Faith stood there uncertainly, she wasn't quite sure whether she should approach him like a prefect and ask him what he was doing, then again, she did this all the time as well, and her only reason was that she loved the animals. That could easily be his case as well, but why so early?

Faith sighed lightly, watching him, before her eyes drifted to the horse he had just approached, and finally she set her feet in motion towards him, walking up directly beside him and standing on the bottom rung of the fence, not looking at him. "Lovely day to visit them eh? It's not quite cold enough for them to have to be all stuffed up in the barn, they can run free and be happy on days like today." She said whimsically, as she reached forward and gently stroked the horses's mane. "Though I was hoping for something magical, you'll do just fine, I love riding horses."
