What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting.     GENERAL APPEARANCE: Arabella is average in heigh, has mid-back length chocolate brown hair that is naturally wavy, annoying her, wishing that her hair would just decide between curly or straight, she has hazel eyes, that tend to change colors, either brown or green or the mix that is hazel. She works out a lot, but not so much that she is like a big, muscular person, she just has a nice toned, slender body. She has tribal tattoos on her shoulders and down her back over her hips. Her style is more scene, bright fun colors.

Her biggest fear is people finding out about her life and judging her from it. Not many people could understand the life of being a tribe, and many have made fun of her for it, she hides it from everyone. If you don't see her working out in the gym, you can find her relaxing in a tree drawing anything and everything.

CHARACTER HISTORY

    Early Years: Arabella was raised in a very small, rural tribe in sicily, she lived in the poor part of the tribe until her family was killed when she was 5, since then, she was raised by a very wealthy woman who lived just outside the tribe. Arabella continued her life in the tribe, and ever since she turned six, she knew that she was different. Her speciality is fire, she is very good at controlling it, at first the people of her tribe shunned her, being afraid of her abilities, but they were reminded by the tribe leader of the legends of the magical warriors that used to guard the tribe from the evil out in the world, and she was once again, accepted into the everyday life of the tribe. When she turned 11 and got her letter from hogwarts she couldn't have been more excited. Now she could go and learn how to better control her magic and be able to protect her tribe. Her tribe was called, Sicani, thought to be the oldest inhabitants of Sicily. They are still stuck in their ancient ways, arranged marriages, when a man decides that he wants to marry a woman, he must first build their home with his bare hands, and the parents must agree that he is hardworking and strong enough to take care of their daughter. Arabella was lucky she got to leave when she did, because if she had stayed until she was 12, there was a chance that she would have been part of this arranged marriage stuff that she definitely did not agree with. She wanted to believe that the woman who took care of her, Lubri, wouldn't have allowed that, but the tribe could be very convincing. The more time that she spends out the real world, the more she pushes away from the way her tribe lives, but they had been her everything, protected her, helped her, she was their only hope to keep them safe. Even once she does go back, she will never be part of the arranged marriage, her not liking of men being a big part of it.

    Hogwarts Years: Her years in Hogwarts have been very eventful for her, she has learned to much and now knows more than she could have imagined about her abilities. She hasn't made many friends, none actually, liking to keep to herself. After coming back from this last summer holiday, she decided that she is going to change her ways, open up a bit and actually meet people.

    Adulthood: Hasn't graduated Hogwarts yet.

tribe? can you be specific about what sort of tribe this is? it seems an integral part of your character's personality and thinking and feeling. in order for us to understand her and to feel like we know her, i think we need to know what sort of a tribe this is, a bit about the culture, how much she thinks like those in her tribe think, how much she believes like they do or behaves like they do....does that make sense?

that does help a good deal, actually. . you mention in her history that she is good at controlling fire. can we agree that perhaps she's good at it for her age? we tend to not to child prodigy stuff here so much. but i can agree that perhaps she's talented at that for her age.

does that work for you?

if we can come to that agreement, then, yes. i will accept her. i like her and i want to see you able to use her. that, and we like new members. So, it might sound a bit late, but welcome aboard!!

yes, i meant that is the element she likes the most, but she is no better at it than anyone else of her age, definitely not prodigy stuff.
