The first of many, many more

It was that time again.

The moon had gone through it's phases, every phase causing Terra to be in more pain than the phase before. He'd gotten some wolfsbane potion from his father, no matter how reluctantly he'd been given it. So, he was set for the transformation to begin soon. The sun wasn't completely set yet, but the pain was growing even worse with each passing second. It was a struggle for Terra to make it outside the castle to the Forbidden Forest. You'd think that after going through it since he was young, he would be used to the pain, but it wasn't all that easy to get over the pain. It was a really horrid process that Werewolves went though.

He hadn't let anyone help him get outside, because he knew just how scared of him they were. He struggled but he got there. Although just before he left, he had managed to leave a note for Leslie in the common room, somewhere only she would find it, telling her that he was sorry for going on ahead of her but he had to get out of the castle before the transformation began - which it was already beginning - and for her to meet him in the clearing within the forest. Now he just needed to wait ... for both Leslie and the moon to come out.

It was curfew time, which meant the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardly was suppose to be inisde in there commons room. Leslie was, but she was about to head to the forest to meet Terra. She knew he been in pain the last couple of days, it just made her cry seeing him in so much pain. Creeping out the girls' dorm to the common room Leslie seen a note from Terra and read it before pocketing it in her Gryffindor robe. Getting out her wand she called for her broom which was in the girls's dorm.

As it came towards her she opened the window enough for her to get out before flicking her wand at the window as it closed. Pocketing her wand in the inside pocket of her robe Leslie took off towards the edge of the forest. After a couple of minutes she landed a couple of inches from Terra. Getting off her broom she ran up to him and hugged him. "It'll be ok Terra I promise."said Leslie softly as she kissed him softly on the lips.

As Leslie came up to him and hugged him, Terra hugged her back boding at her words. "I know it will. Cause you're here with me." he told her softly. Kissing her back, Terra could feel that the moon was coming out soon, his body began to shake and the pain he felt was almost intolerable. He didn't know how he'd been able to handle transforming for so long, tonight it felt even worse than it had before and it was horrible. He felt like he was going to collapse.

Everything will be alright. he thought, barely able to hear himself because of the pain he felt. Suddenly his body seemed to be giving out because his knees gave out and he practically fell into Leslie. He grasped his shirt tightly, panting a bit. The moon was almost completely out and as soon as it's rays hit him, his transformation would begin and Leslie would finally see his wolf form.

Leslie nodded. "Just remember that Terra love."said Lesliue softly as she seen the full moon coming. Feeling his body shake Leslie looked into his eyes. "I'm here for you Terra, I'm not leaving."said Leslie softly. She knew it had to be a painful process, she could see it in his eyes that he was in real pain. It made Leslie cry to see him go through so much pain.

As he gasped onto his knees Leslie winced as she seen him panting waiting for his transformation to be complete. Once he was going through his process Leslie decided that she would turn into her wolf before he turned. "Maybe I'll do it now, maybe it might calm him some."Leslie thought to herself. Turning into her black wolf animagus her she looked at Terra with her blue eyes. After a few minutes she was a solid black that blend in with the night sky around her, but the only thing you could see was her blue eyes.

The sky had darkened completely and the moon was just reaching it's position in the sky and its light rays surrounded the area where they were but it wasn't hitting Terra yet. He winced at the pain, and watched Leslie turn into her Animagus form, it calmed him to think that she was going to be safer like that. He smiled slightly before the light from the sun hit him and the full transformation began. As his body started to change, he howled in pain.

His body stiffened and his skin began to crawl. His nails dug into the ground, basically ripping it up as he bit his lip to try and not let out anymore howls. Bones were cracking underneath the surface, hair was sprouting up along his body. His nose elongated, the nails that were digging into the ground were quickly turning into large claws, and he whimpered softly.

He began to grow in size and his clothes ripped as he grew. The torn pieces of cloths fell all around him and he howled again, before falling to the ground after the transformation was completed. Hair engulfed his body and his chest rose and fell gently to show he was still alive. His eyes opened slowly, showing a bright yellow color they had turned and he looked around. Terra slowly got up and shook himself before looking at Leslie. "Now you know how I look as a werewolf." he told her softly.

Leslie whined in her wolf animagus form as she seen him transform into his werewolf form. Although it wasn't a pretty sight to see, Leslie remained in her spot although it hurt her to see him going through this. As his transformation was complete Leslie looked at her in his werewolf form her blue eyes grew wide. "Wow... Terra love, you look different from the werewolves I seen in the books!" said Leslie softly. Walking closer to him Leslie blue eyes looked into his now yellow eyes. "It'll be ok."said Leslie softly.

Leslie was glad that her wolf animagus was a black color, that way she didn't get in trouble by professors who she knew were patrolling the grounds. She knew they were just protecting the students from werewolves or vampires who were out and about. Usually Leslie was inside the Gryffindor Common room worried about Terra, but now she was here with him now.

"You know I don't care what you look like human or werewolf Terra, I'll still love you."said Leslie softly. She knew he could hear her for she read that magical creatures can talk to each other in animal forms.

The werewolves that are shown in books are just things that muggles have created. They've never encounter a werewolf before, so they have to do something to give them an idea of what we could look like. It's stupid really. he told Leslie softly. Somehow muggles managed to make werewolves seem less harmless than they could actually be.

Terra's yellow eyes seemed to brighten slightly at Leslie's comment about still loving him and he stepped closer to her. Thank you Leslie. Thank you for being here and everything. he said softly, and gently licked her cheek affectionately. Just a few more hours and he would return to his human form ...

Leslie nodded. "Yeah I know, they didn't look the same as when I learned about them in my third year."said Leslie. It was rather funny how muggles made very appear to be more harmless then they really were. If they really knew if they were real they would realize how harmful they can be. After all, they were the most feared creatures in the wizarding along with vampires. Leslie wasn't a vampire nor a werewolf but she bet it was hard being either one of them, she couldn't imagined what they went through everyday.

"Your welcome Terra, you know there's nothing I wouldn't do for you."said Leslie softly licking his cheek back. "Just hang in there Terra, you only have a couple of hours."said Leslie softly. She knew they were going to be tired in the morning, but it wouldn't be any different then her staying up worrying about him. "You know, I used to worry that you were ok before I was able to come down here."said Leslie softly.

Just a few more hours. Just a few more and it would all be over. Terra just had to keep going through the night and then everything would be fine for another month. It was a stupid process that werewolves had to go through, but there wasn't anything he could do about it. Vampires had it easy, they didn't have to transform every month. But then again werewolves didn't have to drink only blood to survive, they could eat pretty much anything and be okay. Blood was an essential thing to the survival of Vampires. Terra felt bad for them even though he was supposed to hate them.

"Are you sure you're okay with being here with me Les?" Terra asked her. Even if she was in her animagus form, he still worried that he would try to attack her somehow. He didn't want anything to happen to her. The moon was now directly above them and he knew that it was probably just past midnight. That was good, just a few more hours until dawn and he would begin to change back to his human form.

Leslie nodded when he asked if she was ok with beong here with him. "Yes Terra love I'm ok, don't worry everything will be fine."said Leslie softly. Leslie knew he was worried that he was going to hurt her. "It's Midnight Terra love, you don't have long intil your back to normal."said Leslie softly. "It'll be ok I promise."said Leslie softly as she licked his cheek once again. Hearing another howl Leslie jumped alittle and her fur went up on her back but she calmed down as she realized it was probably another werewolf.

To be honest. Lesli was more afraid of getting bitten by other werewolves or vampires then she was Terra. "Terra I know this might sound like a stupid question, but do you fight other werewolves?"Leslie asked him softly. Hearing a twig snap near by them Leslie looked around with her blue eyes. She didn't see anything she she imagined t was just the wind.
