A Black And White Movie - Starting in 3, 2, 1....

It was late at night, the moon shined brightly in the horizon and the star sparkled in the sky. The train finally stopped to a halt. Thump! Thump! 'How the hell does this bloody thing works,' muttered the conductor on the speaker. 'Blimey!' said the conductor after realising it had worked. 'Um. This is your final destination, hoped you enjoyed your trip and I hope you have a wonderful year.' Caiden fluttered his eyes open after being woken up by the noise cluttering in the speaker. He looked at his silver watch his mother gave him for his birthday and looked at the time, it was only six thirty pm. Then rose from his seat and looked outside the window to see where they were, they train seem to have stopped could they be here yet?. 'I think we are here,' said Caiden, turning around and grabbing his stuff from shelves above him and dragging them behind him. Caiden felt butterfly flying in his stomach, he felt so homesick at the moment; he was so far away from home. He now knew exactly how Talon felt earlier. 'What do you think its going to be like?' he asked them, waiting by the door for them and waited so the other student outside in the corridor to past.

Talon woke up suddenly as the train jerked to a stop, immediately knowing they made it to Hogwarts. He rubbed his neck after a bit of soreness and yawned "What time is it?" He decided to check for himself though on his old looking pocketwatch. It was enchanted to keep going despite having the user wind it, so he saw it was about 6:30. He looked to see where Caiden and Damitrius were at and noticed that everyone was grabbing their bags. Talon stood up, and waited behind Caiden so they could leave. "I don't know," he said, grogginess obviously in his tone "I only heard stories from my grandfather about this place, and he said that we're supposed to go on a boatride or something when we first enter. Seems a little weird, but I like it." Noticing no one else was in the corridor, Talon opened up the slide door and looked left then right. No one in the corridor. "We better hurry unless we be late," Talon said and walked out into the corridor. "Hopefully they're all just waiting or something," Talon said, his paranoia striking in "and not leaving us here."

Caiden looked at Talon and furrowed his eyebrows then began to turn his head around to take a look outside. There were many possibility what Hogwart was going to be like. What was going to be there and was he going to enjoy Hogwart. All his mother told him was how great Hogwart was and how he was going to enjoy it. So typical of his mother, she never really gave him much details about anything no matter how many time he tried pestering her into telling him. She loves to surprise him. Apparently they were 'fun' she said, frankly Caiden hated it; Caiden hated the suspension. He dropped his gaze off the window and began to look back at Talon again. 'Sweet, can't wait to get on,' said Caiden, his voice excited. 'Yeah, your right, we should get moving,' he said later, looking back in the corridor again and seeing it was empty. This was their chance before they get left behind, but they wouldn't leave them behind. Would they?. 'You ready Damitrius?' he turned his head to Damitrius, smirking a bit at Talon's comment.

Damitrius stood up as the train stopped and straightened her robes out. She tilted her head to the side as she listened to Talon and Caiden talk. She smiled and shook her head at their comments. "They won't leave us behind. But we should hurry, that way we aren't late." she told the two of them. There was usually one person who stayed behind to check that everyone got off the train in time to make it to the boats and carriages. Well unless you're a seventh year, because after seven years you'd have to be an idiot to not know that you need to get off when it stops. Damitrius looked out the window at the castle that would soon become their home for seven years and she felt excitement and pride well up inside her. "I'm ready to go." she said, looking back at them.

Talon nodded and proceeded out of the cabin. He felt a little nervous, maybe even anxious about what was to unfold. He had never been to a boarding school, much less any school in England, so he couldn't shake the feeling that he was somewhere he didn't belong. Nevertheless, he continued and tried to keep his head up in front of his new friends. At least he had some good footing to start off the year. He continued through the corridor and slid open the door that led to the next train car, and jumped from that the space and out into the large crowd of students. Looks like they weren't late after all. He turned around and peered his head back into the corridor the others were in. "Looks like we're not late at all!" Talon said and did another turn. "Attention students!" yelled one of the adults "If you are a first year, please follow me! If you are second year or above, continue with the others in the other direction!" A large schism then formed into the first years and the above grades. That seemed easy, just follow the short kids. "Come on!" yelled the adult again as he led the way. Talon waited for the others to arrive though, not wanting to leave them behind.

Caiden pushed the compartment door and stood on the side to let his friends get ahead of him while he tried adjusting his bag around so he was more comfortable. Then once he was finished, he made his way out of the corridor, following Talon closely behind him. From the view in the window, he could just make out a big black castle he was assuming to be Hogwart, it was a magnificent view. He could feel his heart beating against his chest as he continued to walk. He had no idea what to expect of Hogwart, this was going to be his new home for seven long years. He was starting to wander if this long train trip was worth it. Caiden dropped down on the platform behind Talon and turned around and held a hand out in front of Damitrius offering to help her down. Caiden could hear an adult shouting above the crowd, he felt a small surge of relief surging through his body. That certainly made things a lot easier. Caiden was just going to find a lake full of boats and hoped for the best that, that was the correct place to be earlier and hoped for the best.

A sudden mix of excitement and fear began to surge through her body. She wondered how she would adjust to the new surroundings of the castle and being near new people. Up until this point she hadn't exactly been around others. The only ones she was around were her siblings. As a small child, Damitrius wasn't the healthiest baby in the world, so she had to be supervised all the time and that restricted her accessibility to the outside world and she spent most of her time in her father's house. The eleven year old girl fixed the bag slung on her shoulder and followed the two boys to the platform. She took Caiden's hand when he offered it to help her down and she looked at the large groups that began to form. She looked down at her and Caiden's hand and immediately let it go as she stared walking toward the large group of first years that formed around the adult that would be leading them to the boats that would take them to the castle.

Talon smiled widely as he proceeded behind the large group of first years, excited he was going to see Hogwarts for the very first time. From all the stories his grandfather told him, he knew his seven years were going to be amazing. Talon was practically prancing with each step, his speed wanting to go faster but the crowd not being able to let him do so. He turned his head towards Caiden and Damitrius , his smile still plastered on his face. He slowed down though, letting himself catch him up with the two. "I wonder if I'll be put into Gryffindor," Talon said, his attitude much more positive now "that's what my dad was in at least, maybe I'll be able to keep up the tradition!" Perhaps he was too excited, but Talon hadn't really cared. Hogwarts was only a short distance away, and he was ready to finally join the wizarding community. "What about you guys, what house do you want to join?" he asked the two, hoping they would probably say the same thing.

Damitrius' gaze lowered as Talon asked what house they wanted to join. She knew what house she wanted but she wasn't sure that was the house she would be placed in. "Sometimes it doesn't matter what we want. Our personalities are what decide where we go." she said softly. "I'd really like to get Gryffindor though." she told them. She wondered if her personality was even like a Gryffindor's, strong and bold. Courageous and brave. But her family had a sort of tradition that was with Slytherin. As far as she knew everyone of her siblings, with the exception of her two older sisters, were sorted into Slytherin. She was sure her brother and sister who were also first years, were going to get sorted there too. But she wasn't so sure about herself. She didn't know what kind of person she really was. But she would ti d out what she was soon enough.

Caiden smiled as Damitrius took his offer to help her down, he slowly lowered her down, using his other arm to help her keep balanced. He then looked around to look around and gather everything that was on the platform. On the right hand corner he could see the older kids being taken away by a carriage which seem to be pulled by nothing. At least he thought it was nothing. Then on the left side, he saw a dock full of boats, possibly around 30 boats or something. Caiden felt Damitrius' hand pulling away from him quickly, he looked at his hand then looked up at Damitrius confused. 'What happened?' he thought to himself, then he just shrugged his shoulders and started following Talon through the crowd of people to where they were suppose to go. 'I want to join Slytherin,' he answered as he got on his toes to get a better look of their destination. 'I don't know why, I like green,' he looked back at Damitrius and grinned. He didn't mind which house he was in, but his mother was in Slytherin and he was hoping to make it into Slytherin as well and do her proud. He was suddenly feeling a lot calmer and excited about this adventure to Hogwart. He couldn't wait to see Hogwart.
