Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Disease

As many of you may know, the Wizarding World is currently under threat of collapse following the outbreak of what is being noted as the most devastating disease in history. Throughout time, plagues have threatened to break our society, most recently dragon-pox, however never before has a disease been released that endangered what defines us as who we are - our ability to produce magic.

When asked for details recently, Ministry officials refused to give an official statement, however The Daily Prophet can reveal that the top guns have been left scratching their heads. When we spoke to a Healer who wished to remain anonymous, it was confirmed that Muggles were immune to the disease, and that St. Mungos was no closer to finding a cure than it was to finding a way to travel to Mars.

And so we are left to wonder. Wonder how long this curse will last, wonder whether or not the disease will start claiming lives... wonder if its effects are permanent. We here at The Daily Prophet wish you all the very best, and hope you'll join our prayers that the tireless healers at St. Mungos find a cure soon.

Unicorn Killings in the Forbidden Forest

More alarming still, the creature had been drained of blood, suggesting the activity of Dark Forces. Hogwarts residents are advised to remain calm and stay clear of the Forbidden Forest at all times.

Thaorson Elldir retained.
It has been confirmed that Deputy Minister for Magic Thaorson Elldir has retained his position in the Ministry, despite damaging allegations being made against him that he was involved in the uprising of Gellert Grindelwald

Satan's Bartender Murdered
The Daily Prophet after some extensive research has discovered that the bartender of Satan's was murdered under mysterious circumstances.
