Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

People Watching Empty People Watching

The courtyard was pretty much the best place to people watch at Hogwarts, and by people-watch, Liesl always meant critique everyone's appearance.

Did that Hufflepuff have cankles? Did that Griffindor's skirt make her look like a skank? Oh. My. God. Did that Ravenflaw quidditch player just take his shirt off in front of half the school? TRY HARD!

The only problem was not having anyone to discuss this stuff with. Liesl really needed a partner in crime. Not that it was a crime. Everyone thought that stuff, she just said it out loud (when she had someone to say it to). She was helping people, when you thought about it, because if she didn't tell them they looked horrid, who would?

It wasn't often that she can out to the courtyard. In fact she usually tried to stay away from it, mostly because she couldn't stand all the gossip going around in that place. It seemed like the only reason anyone went out there was to gossip. It was annoying, like serious, get a life.

Hitame Anabelle Higurashi found herself in the courtyard only because she didn't want to be In the common room and the lake had too many people there for her liking. Plus, she didn't want to run into a certain person again. As she sat down on a rock under a big tree, she thought about her life at Hogwarts. The first thing she thought of was when she was sorted. She wondered if the Sorting Hat had made a mistake, in sorting her into Gryffindor.

Of course she was sorted there because of her desires. At first the Hat had been having trouble deciding where to put her. It had thought a lot about Slytherin for her, because of her temper and how close she was to her sister, the only family ahe beloved she had. But instead she had desired to be put in Gryffindor so that was what happened. Now she wondered what she would be like if she had been sorted into Slytherin. And what would've happened to Naomi? She was not a Slytherin at all, more was she a Gryffindor, even though she was in Gryffindor as well. Maybe she would have been better off in Hufflepuff?
