Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The Wizarding centre of Britain was awash with Easter colours. Children of all ages were weaving through the legs of their parents in search of the brightly coloured eggs that had been hidden around the alleyway. The Wizards in charge of the event had been careful not to put any of the eggs near Knockturn Alley, though. In fact, Aurors had been stationed by the mouth of Knockturn Alley that connected it to the main Diagon Alley. Though they paid little attention to the Witches and Wizards that passed through there, they were especially aware of where the children were, determined to prevent them from getting lost in the most dangerous part of the alley. It was the mouth of Knockturn Alley that Rose Weasley was forced to past on her travels, gently directing some of the wayward children to the nearest egg to them, receiving grateful smiles from the slightly weary looking Aurors. Then, once they’d doffed their caps to her, Rose carried on down the cobbled robe to her destination: Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions.

It was clear from the ratty old pair of jeans and the holey jumper that her grandmother had knitted her years ago that Rose really wasn’t well equipped for outings. She’d donned a black cloak to keep out the warmth but she screamed Weasley from the top of her red little head to the bottom of her converse that allowed a perfectly good view of her rainbow coloured socks through the top - and she was sure the socks too had a few holes in them. Now, by no stretch of the imagination was Rose in any sort of poverty, far from it in fact. No, she’d just been too busy with research and working for the Lupins that she’d been neglecting her wardrobe. She smiled a little the reflection of herself in the window and shook her head before pulling the cloak over so the hole in her shoulder could not be seen. Then, Rose jumped up the steps and opened the door to the shop, the bell over which rang out shrilly and made Rose shrink somewhat in dismay of it.

“Good Morning!” Came a soft call from behind the desk. Rose returned the greeting with a smile and a slight wave before disappearing between the shelves in search of some clothes. Admittedly, she was clueless, but not entirely. She was sure she’d find something half decent in amongst the clothes - something she liked.

Spring was in the air, and you know what that means Diagon Alley was going to be more packed seeing how the weather was nice and warm. Although Sophia didn't mind it much, to be honest Sophia like watching kids buy owls or run around getting some more parchment for school. It reminded her of her Hogwarts days, old it seems ages to her. Be all honestly it only been to two years since Sophia been out of Hogwarts, but she can't help not to miss the place. Sophia thought it was funny when your a student there all you want to do is graduate and get out of there but once you are you want nothing more then to go back. Funny how life is weird at times. Shaking her head and smiling Sophia walked through the crowded street heading towards Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions.

You maybe asking why is Sophia Annabelle Granger heading to Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions? Well... Sophia needed a new traveling cloak seeing how her old one gotten destroyed by a potion that her kids accidently spilled on them. As she walked into the store the bell tinkled above her head but she simply ignored it after hearing it so many times. Sophia was a bit sad that her black traveling cloak was ruined she had it for so long it long it was her favorite. Sophia knew that sounded ridiculous but it was true, her father gave her cloak before he died it meant alot to her. Sighing to herself Sophia walked further into the shop looking at all different colors of robes. Red, Blue, purple, they were all pretty, but nothing compares to her old black traveling cloak.

But you could probably tell by the way Sophia was dress that she didn't look like she had that much money but honestly she had some but not alot. She wasn't poor but she wasn't rich but judging on the clothes she was wearing you'll say she was probably middle class or so. Scanning the isle she looked to see if they had a black traveling cloak like the one she had but sighs as she didn't see any. Sophia guessed she would just have to get a new one that's a different color much to her dismay. As she heard a "Good Morning!" from behind the counter she gave them a soft warm smile and a nod.
