What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. So, I was wondering something about the Ministry positions.

Are students allowed to apply for positions in the Ministry? Positions like the Wizengamot, and the other positions like that...

No they are not. You're character has to be a graduate to be in the Ministry.

Not for Wizengamot since that is a national wizarding court position. However..positions like secretaries, etc...those things i will allow students to take. beginning level positions.

its a very good question. check the job postings and see if there is a beginning level position that atticus might be interested in. if there is, you're not out anything to apply for it. we can take it from there.

I have a new question...

Do the Secretaries, Interns and Personal Assistants only go for the Department of Control and Regulation of Magical Creatures or is it for the entire ministry? I'm assuming its for that department because its under there, but I'm not sure...

no, i'm sure we will need them in most departments. and, i know this is a side note, but khaat and robert could probably use a secretary at St. mungos, at least part time, that was a PC rather than a npc. just a thought of the top of my head.

yeah, that might work. go put an application request at st. mungos. i might, ic, have him share that with "Hannah", the npc secretary, as far as the ic information goes, while he's a student. we could, at some point, if you like do a thread between atticus and hannah so that he can get a feel for what all being a secretary for khaat and robert involves. its a very busy job. or it can be. he might want to consider training to be a healer. it would help him greatly in that post.
