Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting.     FULL NAME: Janelle Marley Belby
    NICKNAMES: Jan, Jane, Janey, and anything else her brothers can think up.
    AGE: 12
    ALLEGIANCE: neutral for now…….
    HOGWARTS HOUSE: Ravenclaw
    CLASSES: Charms, CoMC, and Transfiguration.
    WAND: Cedar wood, Phoenix tail feather core, very flexible, best for charms, 13 inches and Different shades of brown from handle to tip.
    PLAY BY: Victoria Justice

APPEARANCE

    HAIR COLOR: long dark.. Brunette
    EYE COLOR:big and brown, wears glasses or contacts
    HEIGHT: 5’ 7”
    BODY TYPE: thin, taller, stick like.
    GENERAL APPEARANCE: Janelle has long dark brunet hair which complements her big brown eyes and her darker skin. She is normally found wearing contacts but sometimes she still puts on those big glasses that use to cause her so much grief with her brothers. She has high cheek bones and soft blemish free skin. She is about five foot and seven inches tall. She if rather skinny and most refers to her as stick like and say that she needs to get a little meat on her bones.. She tends to wear trendy clothing but she really loves cowboy boots. You can almost always see her in them but when she is not wearing her boots she is wearing converses.

    CHARACTER STRENGTHS AND SKILLS: Charms, CoMC, Art, playing the flute and any percussion instruments, and singing.(These things she is good at she’s not mastered anything yet, and she may never master them.)
    CHARACTER WEAKNESSES:Her fear of heights, her fear spiders or anything with an exoskeleton, easily angered, she can’t say no.
    CHARACTER LIKES:Singing, Reading, playing her music, art, and being alone.
    CHARACTER DISLIKES: Annoying people, stupid people, Potions, being looked at as a child, and not being respected by her brothers.
    GOALS: To be a magical zoologist or a Professor at Hogwarts.
    QUIRKS: She always over analyzes everything, and bits her nails when she’s nervous.
    BOGGART: Heights, Spiders/ other things with exoskeleton.
    PATRONUS: Getting her letter to Hogwarts
    DEMENTOR: the first time her brothers tried to teach her how to fly….
    VERITASERUM: That even though she acts like she can’t stand her brothers she couldn’t live without them.
    MIRROR OF ERISED: To be accepted into her family, and not just thought of as an ignoramus sister that doesn’t belong.
    PERSONALITY: Janelle is a big book worm you can always find her with her head stuck in one. She is rather stuck up at times when dealing with her brothers. Just as they think they are better than her she thinks she is better than them, though she does have a sweet side but not many see it, only those who know how to bring her out of her cold hard shell. She loves singing and playing music and she is told that she is good by many outside of her family. She can be a daddy’s little girl when he notices her but otherwise she is rather invisible inside of her family, as if she never existed in the first place. She is scared to death of heights, spiders, other creepy crawlies and anything that is big enough to eat her. Jane absolutely cannot stand annoying people, stupid people, Potions, being looked at as a child, and not being respected by her brothers. Over all she loves to be left alone to her own devices.

CHARACTER HISTORY

    Early Years: Janelle was born to Marcus and Evelyn Belby on February 14th. Her two older brothers automatically claimed they hated her because she was a girl and hogged all of the attention. And it was true she did get a lot of attention until her parents had to have another child. Who also had to be a guy! As they grew up the three guys ganged up on Janelle for many reason, the biggest one of all being her glasses. She was so happy when the two older ones went to Hogwarts. This is the reason she begged her parents to get her contacts for her second year of Hogwarts. This didn’t stop people from picking on her instead they just found other reasons like her shyness and neediness.
    Though she did finally get contacts about half way through her third year at Hogwarts she sometimes still wears her glasses though not as often. And since then the kids that have picked on her in the past have had a harder time finding mean names to call her.
    Hogwarts Years: Janelle has done pretty well in her classes in the past two years. She’s spent most of her time alone reading books, then the rest of the time she was being bugged by her big brothers. She doesn’t have many friends, and she isn’t really active in school activities. All she has is her grades and they are all she ever thinks about. She spends most of her time in the library studying. On warmer days she will study in the court yard or by the lake but unlike the rest of her classmates she never has friends surrounding her as she does so instead she is alone. She is forever alone.

a couple of questions--I struggle with an 18 year old actress that is supposed to be a 12 year old character. There is soooo much human development and growth that happens between 12 and 18 that i'm not sure that victoria justice fits for a 12 year old, unless you find a photo of her closer to that age. does that make sense?


and second, my apologies for not keeping up with your character as well as I should be, but i know you've dropped some and added at least serena. are those the only two active characters you have right now?

btw, your apps seem to me to be getting a LOT better. They are progressively getting better in your tought process and in your development.

i can use pics of her from when she was on zoey 101 i guess i couldn't find anyone better....... since Elle Fanning was kindof taken... though victoria hasn't changed much in phisyical apperance....
yeah i think we went though this last time with Serena.. but Serena and CEcilia are my only two active characters..
yeah the first app i posted on here is still on here some where... yeah right here..... that was back when i was thriteen about 4 or 5 months after i started rping..

And, yeah, I don't mind you using her, but the younger pics would help. Essentially, the rest of the application is sound. You do that, and I'll accept her.

ok, she's clearly still not 12 in that pic, but i evidently wasnt specific enough. i will let this fly this one time. your pb is more like 15 or 16 there. not 12.
