Well well... what do we have here?

Gellert was sitting at his desk, a quill or two scribbling furiously on a sheet of paper before him as he worked to write up a new piece of legislation effectively making Hogwarts his own little play pen. He'd had enough of the administrative bungles taking place up at the school, he would rather see it become more or less a prison for the school, which produced fine dark magic practices then let them continue in their current manner.

He was doing this, at least, until a patronus soared into the room and let loose the voice of Zada Forbes. The moment he heard the message he waved his hands, causing desk to clear itself, before walking over to his fire and lighting it, standing by the warmth for a second before facing the door, ready for the entrance any moment now of Zada Forbes, and the leader of the Death Eaters. His excitement took hold, he was incredibly pleased with this news.

"Come in," he said when he heard an urgent knock on the door.

This wasn't the first time Zada had ever been victim of an imperious curse. But she wasn't exactly sure why she had been left rather sharpheaded while Mikki's brains had seemed to turn to mush. She understood now what had happened to Mikki and wished she'd had enough foresight to have realized it a split second sooner. Either way, it didn't seem to be playing out badly for her so far. As a victim of the curse, Zada honestly had no responsibility in bringing down Gellert Grindlewald, and that was a good thing. Once she was free of the idiots who, she thought, had overplayed their powers, she would be free to alert Gellert and either let him dispose of them himself or she would decide for herself what she wanted to do to them. But it was highly unlikely that she would let it go.

She didn't know if Gellert were on his game or not, but it would be interesting to see. She arrived at the ministry, accompanied by her puppeteer, and at Gellert's invitation, she opened the door and went in. She had the instructions that her body was to carry out. But as much as she had no control over what her body did, her mind did not have to follow. That was typically what caused the insanity that so many others had suffered. Zada didn't see herself resorting to insanity for the simple reason that in order for her to become frustrated that her body and mind weren't agreeing, she would have to give a damn. And that had yet to happen. Until she cared, insanity was lightyears away.

Ne'Os let himself be lead into the minister's office by the imperiused Zada. He hoped that she was not resisting while one could break the curse it was much more likely to cause damage to the person's mind. He didn't doubt though that she could cause issues if she did want to resist he figured even the wrong movement of her eyes could tip off Grindelwald. He would have to be extra careful if he wanted to give the order and his death eaters enough time to be ready to back him up if this failed.

He gave Grindelwald a pleasant smile trying to give Grindelwald the impression that he felt his capture was nothing. "Good to see you again darkest one" he said bowing slightly giving Grindelwald another slightly colder smile.

Gellert returned Ne'os smile, no sign of the action reaching his eyes as he looked at the man for several long seconds. "Welcome, Emof," he said, breaking the gaze and sweeping the room for a second, before drawing his wand and laying it on the table before him.

"I must say, i didn't think I'd be seeing you any time soon here, though I can't say I didn't know that I wouldn't see you," he explained, his voice set in a flat monotone. Having Emof here represented something, in his eyes. If half the rumours were true, the Death Eaters were growing in power and had established some form of alliance with Dumbledore's vigilantes. Capturing their head would only mean good things, this much he knew, much to his own delight.

"Tell me," he said, "would you like a drink?" he asked, waving his wand and conjuring a glass bottle of ancient firewhiskey, working the cork for a few seconds before it popped open with an acidic sounding hiss. "I do insist," he said, pouring himself and Zada a glass.

He looked at the drink then raised it into the air. "To progress," he said, downing his drink before moving onto the real matter of his being there.

"You're going to tell me everything, and you're going to do it now," he said without any warning. "Do that, and you will live," he said with a cold stare.

Zada did like good firewhiskey. Vodka was better, but Gellert did buy decent firewhiskey. And the puppeteer had been specific to make it look very natural. She took the Waterford crystal whiskey glass, making a mental note to buy some of these later if she survived, and made a silent toast at Gellert's beckoning. She took a drink of the whiskey. She listened to the icy tones in Gellert's voice. He was issueing threats, counting on her for backup. He had no clue that she could not give him any.

Something began to come alive in the very back of her brain, like a spark in the very back corner of the attic, behind all the boxes of nonsense. She couldn't identify it at first. And then, slowly, it began to register. Potter's spell, although highly effective, had a flaw. It wasn't completely impervious. She tried to make a voluntary movement and found she could not. But she had recognized a spark, tiny as it was, and if she worked at it, it might rise.

What she didn't know was if it would turn into a full flame, enough to free herself, before she and Gellert were killed. The hold the spell still had was too tight. At least for now.

OOC: Yo. do we need to perhaps bring mikki at some point? i thought the plan was for zada to assist mikki much later in this business? Yes? No?

Gellert nodded to Zada then returned his gaze to Ne'os.

"Lets start with information about your allies, the Order of the Phoenix. I can get to your mob later," he said, narrowing his eyes and glaring at Ne'Os. "Forr you are allies, are you not?" He asked, grabbing his wand and pointing it at Ne'Os' chest.

"Tell me now. How many of you are there, where is your base of operations, and what would it take to destroy the alliance?" He ordered, sparks shooting out of the end of his wand towards Ne'os which fell just short of him, landing on his desk and singeing it

Ne'Os sniffed his drink for a second ignoring the sparks but still flinching slightly. Deciding it couldn't hurt he took a small sip all this taking place while Grindelwald was speaking to him. He found it slightly amusing that Grindelwald was making this harder than it should have been but Ne'Os supposed that the more magical methods of information gathering would come later. "I have a better idea" he said examining the whiskey very carefully. He knew drinking to much would make his mind much easier to attack he placed the glass on the desk avoiding the singed area from the sparks "I will tell you everything you want to know but...there is a price" he said letting a smile appear slowly appear on his face. His hope would be to convince Grindelwald he wasn't afraid of the dark wizard. In truth however...he was terrified.

Zada watched Mikki slip in, not unnoticed by anyone, but in her typical style, Mikki did know how to come into a room without being the height of attention. Zada made contact with Mikki's eyes while the inquisition went on between Gellert and Emof Zada knew the old muggle phrase about someone's lights being on and no one being home. But Zada wasn't sure there were many lights on in Mikki's brain either. And there definitely wasn't anyone home. It might well be days or weeks before she came out of it. She wanted to help the child, if for no more than what she owed to Mikki's uncle, Issac. But she still couldn't move. It was feeling a slight bit better, but not like she wanted it to be.

She listened to the verbal poker game going on. Gellert was playing an offensive hand. He wanted to win this game. Badly. In fact, he wanted it too much, as far as Zada was concerned. Did he think he could threaten the nice Death Eater into confessing information to him? The same nice Death Eater who aligned with him and then turned and aligned with the Death Eaters? He obviously had enough distrust to threaten Emof so why did he even begin to think that Emof would tell him the truth now? Something in it wasn't ringing true in her ears. Wasn't making sense. Had Gellert simply miscalculated Emof? Or did he have another ace to play? The weirdness in this just got weirder and weirder.

Gellert frowned then shook his head, his wand beginning to twirl around in his fingers - an old habit of his from years back. "No dice," he said, "I don't think you're really in any position to be bargaining with anyone, wouldn't you agree Zada?" he asked, a smile appearing on his lips as he joked with his second in command.

"Still, I'm curious. What could you, the glorious Ne'Os Emof possibly want from me?" he asked, a casual tone entering his voice in an attempt to hide his true curiosity

Ne'Os frowned for a second as Grindelwald denied his request but it disappeared as Grindelwald confirmed that the ability to deal was still in his grasp. He watched him twirl his wand around his fingers for a second as he thought about what it was he wanted.


"My life is shorter than it was before my death... Before the vampire traitor, Matthew LeStrange, killed me I had hundreds of years before me and when I had my horcrux it was many years longer" he said making many sound short when he knew it could have meant thousands of years if not infinite. "My only wish is that i am either turned again to the powerful creature of muggle nightmares or that I am granted the ability to create a new horcrux. Both of these things beyond my magical and non magical capability in this current body" he said looking disgustedly at the 40 year old body he was in.


Ne'Os was lying of course about not being powerful enough to find a vampire to turn him or even make a horcrux he simple wondered if Grindelwald thought so low of him to believe it. He knew it was risky but if it worked it would give him the advantage in later moments to come. Even if this was his current life goals he knew it would not happen at the hands of Grindelwald.
