What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Rolling Eyes i was a bit unfair with her.. hers and betsy's were the best.. but she had too many points already ^^

Walking out into the opening of the forest, Ginevra took a deep breath. Upon her were her silver and blue Ravenclaw robes, her house robes to be more exact. It was finally time for the second task, being the first to complete the last, she was to enter first followed by the other three not long after. Her wand was held tightly in her hands as she looked to both sides, listening as the instructions were said, her eyes flickering into a rolling motion as they mentioned the rock they had been handed was to lead there way. How in hell was a rock going to help her? Holding it in her free hand, she sighed as they called her name and a canon went off. Entering the forest, it seemed much more quiet, eerie was a good way to put it but that did not stop her from placing one foot in front of the other. As she was expecting but had been hoping wouldn't actually happen, they had taken something, or something, that meant something to her, something she was to now save and the words she had been hearing were not working to her liking as 'hostage' was never a good thing, or so she thought.

Around her all that was in sight was the tree, and taking a random right, she knew that all she was going to see were more trees and that seemed to frustrate her as she didn't like the cracking of sticks that would happen as soon as she started to slow her pace to think. She had totally forgotten about the rock, well that was until it started to vibrate in her hand. Jumping from the feeling as it had scared her, she looked around her making sure that nothing was in sight as she stopped in the spot and opened her hand as slow as possible, staring at the rock with a surprised expression. Seeing an arrow appear for no more than five seconds, she looked behind her as that was where it had been pointing. Groaning she turned on her feet, knowing that that was the way she had came from and it seemed more movement was over that way, was it the other champions?

walking forward in the way the rock had pointed her, Ginevra had her wand gripped tightly in her hand as she jumped at the sight of something dark, black and furry up ahead of her blocking her path. She had no clue what it was, it actually looked like a muggle dog to her but vicious for that matter. Scanning her mind for something to do to get past it, Ginevra didn't want to hurt the thing as it brought back memories of her own dog when her dad had still been alive. Squeezing her eyes shut so she wouldn't see the result, Ginevra spoke nice, loud and clear ""Tarantallegra!" so that it would be distracted, but the reason she had closed her eyes was she soon followed it up with, "Averte Statura" the spell that sent things flying back in the air. Opening her eyes, she heard the noise that sounded like a screech as it hit it and she felt bad for doing it but she knew she had too. The thing was in here to be danger, an obstacle, not some harmless little fluff ball.

Her walk continued eerier than ever and she was ready to chuck the rock again as she felt like she was going in circles while she also had the feeling she wasn't. Hearing a crack of a stick, Ginevra whipped her head once more but nothing was in sight, or at least nothing from what she could see. Her breathing increases in height, Ginevra couldn't see anything and for this, she just walked forward, almost running now, looking both ways as the sounds continued. it sounded like hooves, horse-like steps as she had remembered the sound from when she was a child in her muggle town. Why would muggle horses be in the forest chasing her? It didn't make any sense at all and she knew that wasn't what was following her.

Gasping in pain, it was random but her arm was throbbing in pain as she squeeze her eyes shut and then grabbed it out of reflex only to feel an area stuck in it. "HOLY ****!" she screamed, turning to see a half-house, half-human figure in the distance with a bow in hand, yet another pointing at her. Taking more than one deep breath, Ginevra ripped it out of her skin and stood up, graphing her as she took her wand in her injured hand and raised it, placing a shield she had learned from Darren while running away from Death Eaters. Kneeing down on the ground to get a quick breather, Ginevra touched her wand to her skin and muttered, "Esckipy." under her breath before she felt a hot burning sensation go through it along with new strength forming within it.

Staring at the Centaur that had shot the area at her, she had never taken much liking in them but as she saw the astonishingly blue eyes staring at her she knew they were full of fury and what looked like loathing with impatience to hurt her, or at least stop her from proceeding on wards in the task. Ginevra was a fighter though, and she wasn't going to give up especially not after going as far as she had. Removing only half of the shield, Ginevra made it so the way between her and the creature was blocked, her pace still quick causing her to fall and get back up before continuing into the darkness. The thing they had taken from her was in the back of her mind as she listened to the slightly sound of movement of anything like that. Those type of things would help tell her if she was alone of not.

Not knowing anything before hand, the rock had given her no time to prepare so she had to expect the worst and so far she wasn't exactly enjoying herself. Looking from the ground and back up, she saw figures above slung to a tree by ropes about three hundred full yards away. Struggling to keep from running full speed ahead, she knew her path wouldn't be clear not matter how much it looked to be that way. Moving in a gliding motion, Ginevra didn't hear anything this time so when she jumped back and screamed at the sight of a spider larger than anything she'd seen before, she was on the ground looking at it as it clamped it's pincher's at her in a threatening motion. Sliding back wards on her butt and grabbing her wand from where it had fallen, Ginevra knew the only thing that this could be and screaming, "R-Ri." she tried but was having trouble as it came closer. "Ridikulous!" she shouted, just in time as the spider bounces back wards and was examining itself that much resembled Jemma but in a way that it took form of Darren. Laughing lightly, her face was sickening looking as she moved around it and toward the trees in a distance. She had a good idea of what it was she had been thieved from but she just hoped she was wrong.

The last thing Ginevra could see in sight, she knew what it was but it was something that scared only some people. She called it a scarecrow but people in the wizarding world saw them as dark creatures called "Bugbears." Shaking her head, she wondered if the other champions would be scared of it as if they weren't muggle-born they'd probably see it as something threatening. Running onwards until she finally reached the trees, she knew only one spell that would get the robes undone but the person tied in them was one she wasn't willing to hurt as the spell had to do with knives. "Hold on, Freddy! she told him, conjuring a sharp object and cutting through them like that. It was a harder way but it was the way she was going with due to who was on the other side of them. Watching them fall, she levitated Freddy softly to the ground as his feet hadn't been touching the ground. Taking him in a tight squeeze, Ginevra was glad it was over though the task was complete with her hostage saved the rock started to glow as it shock once more and they disappeared, appearing right back at the starting where a band started to play; welcoming them back. Looking around for the others, she wondered if he was the first to be saved by her or not. She hadn't been paying attention to see if there were other hostages.

Hey you did stuff about Bugbears and centaurs too. We were on the same track there. However I was the only one without the giant spiders.

My favorite part was " but people in the wizarding world saw them as dark creatures called "Bugbears." Shaking her head, she wondered if the other champions would be scared of it as if they weren't muggle-born they'd probably see it as something threatening." It was good. Gin. My favorite one.
