Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Andrew hadn't slept since his last theft, several days ago. He had napped briefly, but only a few minutes at a time. He had become a fixture in the restricted section of the library, and he was beginning to get just a brief inkliing of the importance of what he had most recently stolen. He had missed Michael Tremaine on just about every occasion he had tried to get to him. So, he now, out of sleep deprivation, was being forced to take someone new into his confidence. And that was always risky. Still, the only one he felt he could begin to trust now was Wilson.

He knew Wilson sometimes kept weird hours, but this was weird even by Andrew's own standards. The sun had not yet come up this morning. Not quite. He slipped through the hallways completely silently, something he really was quite good at. And he found Wilson's door. If Wilson wasn't here, his plans were to go slip back into the shadows until he could try to find Tremaine again. It seemed that the retired catburglar never ever freaking slept.

So, here he was. Outside Wilson's door. He knocked, rather timidly, and then just waited. He didn't know if he was hoping Wilson was here or not.

Do You Want This Thing? Empty Re: Do You Want This Thing?

He was not a man who needed more than 5 hours of sleep, if even that, but when he actually decided to sleep, he wanted his peace. From time to time, though, some idiot found it necessary to chose the most stupid hour to knock at his door and disturb his sleep with a missing slipper or a dead canary. He honestly hoped this was not it. Wearing his sleeping robes, Wilson slowly started sliding to the door, turning the light on during the process.

Upon opening the door, he saw that Gryffindor boy that he had dubbed Oliver Twist last term, or the one before, he wasn't sure. ''This better be good, or your detention will be to kill and bury yourself in the Forbidden Forest'', he said looking down on the boy.

"Sorry, Professor," he said, rather sheepishly. "I know its early, but...I needed to see you. Its important. You'll probably give me detention anyway." He invited himself in to the professor's office without invitation and closed the door. He looked back at the professor. "I...I'm not sure where to begin. I have a new guardian this year, and he told me never to tell anyone that my guardian changed or who he is. But...I dont' really have a choice now, I don't think. I think you've met him. My new guardian is Robert Lupin, and, well, I've been acting on his behalf this school year. I've run across something that somehow I need to get to someone who knows what to do with it."

He didn't tell Wilson he'd been stealing, but Wilson was far from stupid either. He opened his school cloak and got out the large leatherbound journal that he had taken from Zada Forbes' quarters before she had moved to the South Tower. He suspected that his theft might be at least partly responsible for that.

"I was hoping...maybe Robert might find use for it. It...seemed important, and, well, most of these are not even in the restricted section in the library." Then he realized he had just confessed to Wilson he'd broken into the restricted section too. What else was he about to blurt out to him? He sighed heavily, feeling more than busted.
