Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Caisleán na Emof Empty Caisleán na Emof

Ne'Os had finished the "purchase" of the 14th century castle a few days back he had found it for sale from a muggle realtor and convinced her to sell Ne'Os the house at a very low price and then completely forget it existed. Which was simple enough he then worked to hire a staff to run the castle they of course all had magic which made the running of the castle a little bit smoother and he paid them enough to keep them quiet about who he was. Although the money was hard to come by as he had to convince the goblins that he was actually a Emof. He had to actually take verituserum to convince them and even then he had issues.

He stood on the large balcony that over looked the courtyard of the castle. The castle it self didn't have much acreage to it all there was was a large wall attached to the keep then a large gatehouse with a iron gate and then the muggle town that surrounded it. The town was almost as old as the castle the villagers built the castle after many attacks from what ever enemy was around in those days. He turned and looked inside the balcony was attached to the great hall there was a wooden throne it was simple no Gems nothing but it had a look to it so that the one who sat in it gave the impression they were in charge. It was covered in fur blankets to make it more comfortable and inviting. A few meters from the throne was a long table set with silver place settings it was currently bare as no meal was planned for a few more hours. He walked over to the throne and examined the space more closely he himself had never sat in it. He preferred the lounge in the next room with its large fireplace and overstuffed chairs. The amazing part of the castle was that it was always cold no matter the season even though every room had a roaring fire in it. Because of this the windows were always open, weather permitting that was. He leaned against the throne for a second until he was approached by the butler

"sir, is there anything i can get you?" he asked in a emotionless tone.

"No, thank you i think i'm going to get a proper view of the courtyard" Ne'Os said.

He slowly stood back to his full length and then walked out of the great hall and down a beautiful flight of stairs he came to the entrance hall and admired the impressive art in it before stepping out into the large courtyard. It had the original stone work like the rest of the castle so it had a unique look to it thanks to some of the touch up Ne'Os and his staff had done it looked less like a ruined castle but more like the wonder of architecture it had once been. he came to the center of the courtyard it had a circle about 5 acres in size in the circle was grass and trees it was Ne'Os's favorite part of the castle as it had a path from the main gate to the front door in the middle and in fact from the gate you could see straight through to the front doors. in the middle though right next to the path was a small gazebo made from marble it had fur rug floors and a fireplace on one side so one could stay warm in the winter.
