Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Post Battle Meeting Empty Post Battle Meeting

Post by Thaorson Kam Elldir Thu Jun 23, 2011 2:15 pm

Thaor apparated to just outside the manor property. It appeared as though he was the first to arive. His clothes were torn, and he was a mess. He used a simple repairing charm on his clothes, and went to wash up in one of the bathrooms on the first floor.

Once he cleaned up, he went into the meeting room, rolled up his left sleeve and pressed his wand to the dark mark. Allerting every death eater it was time for a meeting. Knowing Gellert did not have a dark mark, and therefore wouldn't know of the meeting, he sent a patronus to him. Meeting, manor.

He knew his presense at the manor wouldn't be taken kindly to at first, he decided he'd keep his wand at the ready until he could explain his actions at the battle.

Ne'Os had just made it past the barriers to the castle when he felt his dark mark burn. He rolled up his sleeve and looked at the place where the mark should have been. It didn't exist not yet anyway he supposed once a death eater always a death eater was extremely accurate. He aperated to his house in London first and changed into a pair of black robes he placed the hood over his head and then aperated to the point outside the Malfoy Manor property and walked up the path to the old house. He drew his wand as he entered the front door he did his best to give off a air of good health even though his wounds were screaming at him. He entered the meeting room and aimed his wand at Thaor "I don't know what your plan is but know this i won't send any spells until it is necessary" he said placing his wand back in his robes and found a chair near the head of the table. He let his hood fall around his shoulders revealing the older man he had become since his untimely death.

Post by Thaorson Kam Elldir Fri Jun 24, 2011 2:05 am

Thaor watched as Ne'Os came in, he would be the first one in, wouldn't he? Thaor did not point his wand at Ne'Os, instead, he kept it on the table, his fingers twitching over it. Sending curses, would be very unnecessary Ne'Os. Once Grindlewald arrives, everything will be set straight. Just trust me when I say, I would have died the moment I betrayed you all if I was truly betraying you. As I am still alive, we can all agree that I did not betray the Death Eaters, instead, I set up something we will find very useful. Once more people arrive, I will explain further. Thaor said, not taking his eyes off of Ne'Os.

And someone wanting my position, might sit closer to me. Thaor said, kicking the chair to his left out, signaling to Ne'Os to take the seat.

Ne'Os smiled unsure of what to think about Thaor's claims but he Knew he was speaking some truth he was still alive. He moved to the chair Thaor had signaled he placed his wand in a secure spot that would be easy to get to but he doubted he would need it for this meeting. "I don't know if you speak the truth or not but i do seem to recall that traitors were killed in such a way that well it takes a while to get the blood off your clothing but fine lets see how this goes i am interested to hear what you have to say" he said truthfully while remembering Voldemort's ways of killing people he wondered if Grindelwald would adopt some of his ways.

Post Battle Meeting Empty Re: Post Battle Meeting

Post by Remy Devaul Mon Jun 27, 2011 11:02 pm

Well this could be awkward… Remy thought as the dark mark burned on her arm, her fingers still wrapped around the handlebars of her motorbike. Remy’s activities for the evening hadn’t exactly been within her duties as a Death Eater, so when the call was put out for her to return to the Manor, she knew she would be putting on a show tonight to avoid getting in trouble.

Although Remy hadn’t actually been present at the meeting held the night before, she had gathered from the general populous that there was a battle going on at Hogwarts, and that, in her duty as Death Eater, she was supposed to have been fighting for the side of evil or whatever drivel was currently being dealt out to all those cronies in there that were willing to give life and limb to support “the cause”.

Remy, on the other hand, had missed the meeting because she was supporting her own cause. She had run into a very interesting character outside the manor on the way to the meeting, and after a not-so-brief encounter with him, Remy had missed the entirety of the Death Eater meeting she was supposed to be attending. She had gone into town on her bike, found out the story from the petty criminal gossip hotline, and then had to make a decision.

But it didn’t take long.

When the choice was between thrusting herself into the middle of what was described as a heated battle – ironic word choice, because rumor had it the school was on fire – or finding another, less dangerous situation for herself… Remy wasn’t at all torn.

So while her fellow Death Eaters had been out killing or dying or whatever it was they were doing, Remy had taken her motorbike to the deserted cabin she sometimes stayed at when she hadn’t found a man’s bed to sleep in. It was out of the way, so no one was likely to see her, and there she had waited out the battle of Hogwarts.

Or almost waited it out. Remy had gone out on her bike to find something to eat when the dark mark burned, which meant she had to shift directions and head back to the manor abruptly. As usual, she ditched her bike in the bushes outside the gates of the house, but this time, she knew she couldn’t just waltz in. There was another step to take before presenting herself to the war weary Death Eater gang.

I really liked these pants, too…. Remy thought as she pulled a Swiss Army knife and a lighter out of the compartment below the seat of her motorbike. Pulling out the blade, Remy sliced a few holes into her jeans, taking care to make them look as though they were random. Then she flicked the lighter on, singeing the area around the holes she had cut, to give the impression they had been formed by grazing spells.

After doing the same to her shirt, Remy grabbed some dirt from beneath the bushes and smeared it across her arms and put a brush of it on her cheek for effect. The actual wounding she saved for last, and she bit down hard on a branch she had found while she cut a few lacerations into her own arm, her eyes watering from the pain. Nothing too deep, just enough to get the point across.

This was painful, but being a deserter to the Death Eaters would be much, much more painful.

Satisfied that she looked appropriately disheveled and harmed, Remy tossed the knife and lighter back into her bag and spit the branch onto the ground and kicked some dirt on top of it. As she walked toward the manor, the dark-haired woman smeared the blood from her arm onto her neck and the part of her shoulder that was exposed by the newly formed tears in her shirt.

That ought to do it, Remy thought as she caught a glimpse of herself in the darkened window next to the door before slipping inside and heading to the meeting room.

“Evening, all,” Remy said to the two men as she entered the room, her wand out of her pocket just for show. She knew she was taking a gamble by creating such an elaborate story, but if the battle had been as hectic as she had heard it was – from both the news and private sources – there was a good chance she could pretend to have been there, and no one could claim to know any different.

Post Battle Meeting Empty Re: Post Battle Meeting

Post by Felix Barker Tue Jun 28, 2011 3:22 pm

The Dark Mark burned... "Damn." Felix hissed, looking down at his arm, and staring at the winding black marks that grew darker when it was pressed upon by the head of their group. Frowning, Felix knew that he should have expected it, he hadn't actually stayed around to see the end of the battle, more just wanting to make an appearance, so people knew he was out of Azkaban, and ready to start his evil deeds. Felix pulled on a shirt, and glanced over at his bed. He had been reunited with his love again, and there was a screaming little girl being tortured in a room down in the basement. A little redhead named Chase, who had ties to Khaat Lupin, right now though, she was undergoing Chinese Water Torture, and had been quiet for a while. But now this mark was burning.. and he had to get their pronto.

Pulling on his clothes, he brushed out his hair, carefully shaved, so that he didn't look like a hobo anymore, and grabbed his cloak. Sweeping it around his shoulders, he smiled. Cloaks always made him feel more dangerous, and a bit more powerful, who knew what would happen at this meeting, and who knew who might show up. Felix for one knew that their 'head' wouldn't probably be head much longer.. simply because there was a new baddie in town, who went by the name of Grindelwald... and it just so happened Felix had been saved from Azkaban, by the man himself. So Felix was in his debt, and would do whatever Grindelwald wanted, if it helped to slowly repay the effort he went through to save him from the confines of Azkaban. Felix smiled and apparated away, appearing outside of Malfoy Manor.

Walking in quickly, he glanced around the entry. He could see an open door into their usual meeting room, and a few people assembled there, but he was taking his time. It had been a while, and he was surprised to see that he had missed the old Manor. Taking a small glance around, he moved into the meeting room, and glanced around. "Good Evening all." He said lightly, and found a chair that was appropriate to his standing in the Death Eaters, not to high, not to low. He was right about average, and it pissed him off, but he didn't show it. He leaned back in his chair, and stared around the room, taking in all who was assembled, his eyes landing heavily on Elldir, who he wasn't quite sure what to make of.

Thaor looked up as Remy entered the room. He was quite unsure of her since she joined their ranks. Thinking back, he'd never seen her use magic. He'd confront her on that later. It was the person who entered the room after her that interested Thaor. Barker. Thaor said, kicking the chair to his right out. Why don't you sit here, a more proper place for someone of your status. Thaor added. You two. Thaor said, motioning to Ne'Os and Felix. Are the most trusted people among our ranks. Your input is important to me. Thaor said, not waiting for a reply. What is our next move, what should be on the back burner? Thaor asked.

Felix frowned, pretty sure this was a joke. He had chosen a chair not to far from him, but definitely not on his right hand side... slowly standing up, looking a bit cautious, he moved and sat next to Thaor, his eyes trained on him, not moving, and looking very distrustful. He blinked when he said his input was important, but his jaw basically dropped when he started to ask him questions. He didn't trust Thaor, not an ounce. This person, who had basically had him sent to Azkaban for the rest of his life (Had he not gotten broken out), he had battled him on the grounds, and had shown nothing but hatred towards Felix, was now asking him for advice. Felix frowned, sure this was some sort of trick.

"What's next?" he asked and leaned back in his chair, folding his hands behind his freshly washed hair. "What's next is you explain to me, what the hell you suppose your doing? Tell me if I'm wrong.. but the last I knew, you had me sentenced to Azkaban.. and battled me on the grounds, and I'm not quite sure where your loyalties lie.. so tell me, and try to explain to me.. what you are doing at this point.. before the entire congregation gets here anyway.. just let me know what you are planning.. because personally, I'm at a loss of where to place you in my head." He said simply, his eyes fixed on Thaor, as he stared him down, his right hand behind his head, while his other hand rested casually on his pocket, that his wand was sticking out of. Felix held grudges, and Thaor was pretty high up on his list of 'who I would like to torture next'.

Thaor watched Felix, his reaction was exactly what Thaor had expected it to be. What do I suppose I'm doing? Getting a man on the inside, both the ministry, and the order. Robert Lupin, the minister for magic, trusts me with his life. Which will be his mistake. And how could I do anything but send you to azkaban, you admitted guilt, had I voted for death, thats what you would have gotten. My vote kept you alive. And breaking you out of Azkaban was part of my plan, but it appears you didn't need me for that. Thaor said, gripping his wand in his hand. He hoped he wouldn't need it tonight. After last night, Robert informed me that the Deputy Minister, and Warden of Azkaban positions were both vacant. You are looking at the new, Deputy Minister for Magic. I of course had to resign from Hogwarts, but that wasn't a problem. As for the battle, I couldn't exactly fight the order, and have them thinking I'm on their side. They trust me now, I can get information and use it to our advantage. Thaor said, staring into Felix's eyes. Thaor could tell Felix was surprised he had him sit so close to him. And don't be so surprised that you're sitting where you are. No one else has the tallent, or ability to lead besides you. Everyone else is quick with the fighting, but you, you're different Felix. You will get shit done. Thaor added.

Post Battle Meeting Empty Re: Post Battle Meeting

Post by Felix Barker Tue Jun 28, 2011 4:21 pm

Felix listened to what he said, and his hand slowly moved away from his wand. He wound it around the back of his head, and his eyes drilled into Thaor. Felix wasn't really a fighter, and he wasn't about to fight Thaor, but he was pissed. This man had acted like he was the complete opposite of the Death Eaters, doing everything he could to get up and cozy with the higher ups.. and yet here he was.. explaining himself to Felix, making him understand, and Felix had to admit.. that took balls. But Thaor was always saying some stuff that didn't make much sense to Felix.. something about.. him leading? Felix frowned, and thought it over. He had never had much ambition to lead people.. but if he was given the chance.. well.. Felix held his breath, and then let it out slowly through his nose.

The Death Eaters had been going downhill for quite some time, Felix hadn't participated in much for a while, simply because he was used to doing what he wanted.. but... Felix looked around the Malfoy Manor.. to be able to do what HE wanted for a change, to have people respect him for a DIFFERENT reason.. instead of being feared for torture (Which if he were head of the Death Eaters would grow tenfold), they would fear him as the next head of the Death Eaters. Felix sat up in his seat a bit higher, but then frowned and leaned back down. "I appreciate the confidence you have in me Elldir..." He said carefully. "I'm not quite sure what you are expecting of me.. but... I will lay aside what you have done as you attempting to get higher up in the system with the Ministry.. and I applaud you on your new position. You asked me what our next move should be? I feel as though we need to do more recruiting.. we need more people.. that was why we tied! We didn't have enough people fighting for our side... we need... we need followers I guess, but to get that.. we need someone who can get them on our side.. and let them see that WE are the cause that needs fought for.. WE will be the future of the world.. maybe even lie right out, and tell them all that what we will do, will help better humankind.. or some bullshit like that.. lie to them.. give them ideas.. we are the future, and the only way to survive, is to take hold of it by the horns... that is my opinion... simply... we need more people." He said and nodded, before falling silent, staring at Thaor still.
