Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The Owl Empty The Owl

Post by Thaorson Kam Elldir Wed Jun 22, 2011 11:50 pm

Shortly after Thaor arrived at Elldir's wands, he sent an owl to Robert.
Rule #6 Rule #40
He did not sign it, so if intercepted no one would know who it was from, or what it meant. He hoped Robert would understand.

Undoubtably aurors would be coming to his shop to look for any sign of what may have happened. It nearly killed him, but he knocked over every shelf, and sent curses everywhere. Making it look like someone was looking for something.

Being satisfied with his work, he pointed his wand out the door into the air and mumbled. Mosmodre Sending the dark mark into the sky, giving the impressions the death eaters were behind this.

Thaor then disapparated, appearing seconds later in his late brothers house in Australia.

The Owl Empty Re: The Owl

Robert took the note from the owl when it arrived and opened it. Rule 6 and Rule 40? Robert frowned. Rule six he knew by heart. Rule 40? Hide the women and children first? What the hell did that mean? Then he thought again. Nope. Wrong rule. Rule 40: If you think someone is out to get you, they are. Ah. Wisdom now. Robert sent an owl to Brian. He deliberately sent him to Thaor's shop to scour it well and take anything of any value whatsoever and put it into hiding. He wanted the deed done before anyone else could get there. Thaor had somehow survived, clearly, but was hiding. And Robert was going to do his best to shield him. He had some ideas about where he would go, but he was going to leave him on his own. Instead, he sent an owl back of his own. It merely read, "3, 15." He counted that Thaor would get both the note and his point.

Thaor took the letter from the owl. Rules 3 and 15. Never be unreachable, and always work as a team. He somehow knew this would be the responce he'd get. and had a note ready. Rule #4 Rule #45 - Rule 7 He drew a circle around rule 7.He knew Robert would get the point that he needed to go along with Thaor's scheme. And lie well.

Robert merely laughed. There was something in it that struck him a little funny. He didn't know why Thaor had done what he had done, but at least it cleared up any blame on Jack Dyllan except what guilt she laid on herself. He would not have blamed her anyway, but even so, he had no idea what was going through her head. Part of him wanted to relieve her of perhaps any ugliness that was storing up in her head now because of watching Thaor "die." But it was too soon. He wasn't at liberty to tell her. He would meet Michael today, later, and merely mention in the course of the conversation that Jack was no longer under suspicion by the ministry. It wasn't much consolation, but perhaps it would be of some comfort, if Michael indeed saw her. And, he was hoping Thaor wasn't going to die a "third" time anytime soon.
