2 years is a long time

Now that Aurora was 14, There were many things for her to get used to. She never saw Varod or her god parents and didnt even care much for Rodgey anymore. She felt as though neither Varod or Rodgey cared for her. Varod had been stuck making kissy faces with his so called wife when Aurora had gotten hit by a car.

Even though that was 2 years in the past, Aurora couldnt let it go. That was the exact reason she was sitting in the forest of dean waiting. She hoped to find all of the answers she had been looking for for so long.

The forest of dean had been the place where Aurora and Varod had met. It was the place where they became brother and sister. Now, It was a place of terrible memories.

Varod ran. He ran as fast as he could. They'd found him. How the hell had they found him? Hadn't he killed them all two years ago when he escaped kidnapping? No matter. It was midnight on the full moon, and three werewolves were chasing him. Seeing as they had no attention for anything else, he assumed they were taking wolfsbane so they would be able to keep their heads.

With deft hands, he clambered up a tree and stared down at the large wolves who were trying to climb up.

"Dammit!" he shouted, sending a stunner down at one. It just bounced off. Drawing his sword, he readied himself to fight these horrible wolf men.

Vampire versus werewolf. How god damn cliche. Stupid twilight. Stupid way to die.

As she sat in the trees, Aurora heard some commotion and quickly jumped from the tree and ran as fast as she could towards the noise. She heard thoughts that sounded like an old friend of her's but she didnt care.

As Aurora got close to the commotion, She saw a bunch of werewolves trying to climb a tree. She looked up at the tree and spotted Varod, an old brother of her who she hated dearly.

"Having fun up there?" She yelled before running to climb a tree. She wasnt really going to try and help him for he never cared much about her in the beginning.

Varod looked over quickly, then did a double take. "Aurora?! Get the hell out of here! You see werewolves and you go TOWARDS them?!" Cursing, he started dropping knives, which brought whimpers but did not real damage to the damned things.

"You wouldn't happen to have a place to hide, would you, Little Sis?" he asked, climbing higher up the tree as they started to find foot holds and make it up. Jumping to another tree with his vampire strength, he got closer to Aurora. "Sorry I haven't been in contact. Couldn't findja." He threw another knife, which went straight into one of the werewolves eyes, almost instantly killing him. "Glad something went right. That was my last knife." With a mighty crash the dead werewolf hit the ground.

Aurora smirked.. "You think im scared of some dumb creatures?" Aurora asked sarcastically. Why on earth would she care what he thought anyways? He was usually not there for her anyways. "Whats with the knives. You're supposed to throw them not drop them. Are you trying to make them mad or something."

'You would'nt happen to have a place to hide, would you, Little Sis?' he asked her. The question made her smirk even more. "Yeah. OF course I have places to hide. Many places in fact. But... None that i'd show you." She said before climbing a little higher in the tree. "You couldnt find me because I wouldnt let myself be found." She snapped at him a little.

Varod shrugged. He didn't have time for games. The werewolves were in the trees now and he needed help, clearly not coming from Aurora. Unsheathing his sword from his pocket, he got in a fighting stance and waited for the two living creatures to get to him. There was no way he could escape, so he needed to fight.

"They were down beneath me, stupid. Why would I throw the knife when I could use the basic principle of gravity to kill them? Pennies can go through someone's head from this height." Shrugging again, he kicked a leaping werewolf who whimpered and fell to the ground.

"Actually, It could kill them if it hit them at a fast enough speed. You'd have to be higher than this to get the velocity of the knife to get high enough." Aurora said in a matter of fact voice. Aurora jumped to a branch near him, took out her wand, summoned one of his fallen knives, and began to help him. She jumped to the ground where there were a few werewolves and she began to fight them one after another. After she thought they were all either to injured to attack or dead, she looked up at him right when a werewolf jumped at her. She turned around, hearing a snarl from the wolf and she put her knife up and fell to the ground with the wolf.

There was stabbing pain in her ribs even though the knife was in the wolf. The handle was pushing so hard into her ribs it bruised her very deep. It took Aurora a few minutes to push the wolf off of her but she just layed there. There was a few scratches from the wolf on her neck and arms from when she was fighting and a few from the wolf she just stabbed.
