Maybe I should....

Sally sighed walking through Hogsmeade always was a tad boring to her. She was mad at herself as usual as she had missed another stinking meeting with the Death Eaters but she had been so busy lately that she was forgetting to show up. Sighing again, she kicked a pebble watching it skip across the ground. "Today is incredibly boring." She thought to herself continuing to walk past the Hogs Head.

Normally she would venture into the Hogs Head for a fire whiskey or two, but today she felt something pulling her towards the Shrieking Shack. She was half expecting a fellow Death Eater to show up and B**** her out for not showing up again. She was starting to go past the Three Broomsticks thinking she should probably stop in and see if her cousins, Sally Ruby, was in their with her boyfriend, Prison Lycon, but she decided against it.

She walked past the pub and continued walking in the direction of the Shrieking Shack again. She kicked another rock but this time instead of just skipping across the ground, it hit someone directly in the shins. "Oh Sorry." She said not really meaning it.

Marla was on a mission. Sally Emerald was in the bad books. She had stopped showing up to meetings and had been reported to be working for the Ministry. The Death Eaters were fairly sure someone was a spy and she had heard whispers about it possibly being Sally, so she had taken it on herself to eliminate the problem before it got even worse.

She was wearing one of her long black cloaks she liked to travel in, the hood up all the way. She moved one way down Hogsmeade, having tracked Sally here. Sally approached and then a rock hit Marla's knee. Marla heard Sally apologize and smiled, knowing the perfect way to catch Sally off guard. She launched forward and the cloak flew behind her as she launched in the air. Her hands fastened around her neck as she tried to push her over.

Sally was a little stunned to see Marla was standing there. "Great, Death Eater now I am..." Her thoughts were stopped as Marla jumped her and clasped her hands on her throat. Sally gasped standing her ground as best as she could. Her eyes widen as she started to lose oxygen, she gathered as much strength as she could and flipped Marla off her back.

Sally jumped away from her and stared at the woman. "What the devil are you thinking!?" She nearly yelled at the top of her lungs. She clutched her throat feeling bruising marks starting to form. They stung slightly but Sally pushed that small amount of pain at the back of her mind and focused on Marla's attack on her.

Marla held tightly to the woman's neck, watching with pleasure at the way her eyes bulged out of her skull, at the changing color of her skin as her fingers tightened around her pretty little neck. Finally, the woman seemed to gather her strength and flipped Marla away. Marla landed deftly on her feet and stood, her hood having fallen off.

Marla's usual Cheshire cat smirk was absent, because there was not too much that was entertaining nor amusing about this particular situation. "You are no longer of service to the Death Eaters. You have put us all in danger, traitor." She pulled her wand from her robes and pointed it at the other woman. "AVADA KEDAVRA!"

Sally stayed cool while Marla spoke but her eyes widen as Marla pointed her wand at Sally. She opened her mouth to protest against it but the spell hit her square in the chest before she was able to utter a word. Everything went from a bright light to darkness as she fell to the ground, the life inside of her dead. The last thing that went through her mind was of her cousin.
