Meeting a new face

Leslie didn't know how she made it all the way to the Gryffindor portrait but she did. As she said the password she walked through the portrait into the common room and smiled. "Yes fianlly!"said Leslie softly as she walked towards the chair by the fire and dropped her bookbag by the chair as it thump on the floor. Taking a seat in the chair she felt the fire start to calm her down little by little. Leslie was tired from doing her homework which was a major pain seeing how they are preparing her for O.W.Ls next year.

Leslie was sure that next year was really going to be a pain but she was ready for whatever came her way. Rubbing her eyes tiredly she looked down at her now finished homework and smiled proudly. Leslie had spent almost all day in the library getting all done and ready to turn in. Last time she knew Gryffindor was in the lead for the house cup and she didn't want to lose any points to her by turning in late homework. Looking around the quiet empty common room Leslie wondered where everyone was at but then figured either doing homework or by the lake.

Blake was in his dorm sorting through his books finding his homework so that he could get some of it done. This year blake would be taking owls which meant he was getting pressured. Usually Blake didnt get pressured but, he did sometimes, especially when it came to those major tests that you never want to do. looking under a book that he is reading just for fun, Blake foun his homework, picked it up along with a quill abd his jar of ink and headed to the common room where a desk sat in the corner. A perfect place to work.

Taking the last step down to the common room, Blake noticed a girl there. She looked like a 4th or maybe a 5th year. But blake wasnt ever able to tell. "Hey." He said softly, hoping not to make her jump. Setting his stuff on the desk and deciding to do his homework later, Blake went over to the sofa and sat down. The fire was a good thing to sit by on a day that was freezing outside. It just started snowing maybe 10 or 20 minutes before hand. And snow was fun, yet really cold.
