Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Andrew walked down the rugged path that led to the small town of Hogsmeade, his hands in his new jacket pockets. He had bought a new sweatshirt, one that was pure black except for a white stripe that led down his right arm, after his old one had been burnt back in the Gryffindor common room. He could have repaired it, sure, but he had been needing to get a new jacket but never found a reason to buy a new one. Even with the new jacket, it was still cold, which in turn made Andrew keep thinking of when the hell it would be spring. He hated the coldness of winter.

He walked into the Three Broomsticks, almost in a direct sprint, needing to find some kind of warmth and some butterbeer. He just couldn't believe wizards wouldn't get some sort of heating system for the buildings, he was still cold and could still hear his teeth and bones chatter. He never liked to complain, but right now was the time. To who? He wouldn't know. Walking over to the nearest table, Andrew asked a waitress to get a butterbeer for him, but with extra warmth. It was always really hot, but Andrew could use a large dosage at that moment. Christ, why can't it be summer all the time? he thought to himself at least then, people would love being outside, instead of stuck in their house.

He toke a seat near the window, looking outside the frostbitten window, looking at a small crowd outside. They appeared to be huddling over some sort of makeshift fire, trying to find warmth. Probably a couple of adults who hated being in the shops or something along the lines.
