Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Oh, gosh, I know that final semester can carry a lot of pressure, especially in nursing. Good luck to you with that. I'm sure you'll do fine when you do go back, though, but it sounds like you're loving this time with your son, and I'm glad for you. I think its always a wise thing, for those who can manage to do it, to stay home for awhile with their babies. I think not only do the parents need it, but, psychologically and developmentally, it is so important for the babies too. Sounds like you made a great decision.

@Khaat I totally agree. The simpler and cleaner this is, the more likely we'll keep up the momentum and keep writing.

Old characters and plots - archived but never forgotten!

I think in some way we never forget where our characters have grown and we always hold a soft for our older characters that may not be played anymore. But yes, as it gets cleaned up and neat looking I think this will be great for us to have again. I'm just ready to get back at it. Rp'ing has always been an outlet for me and how I've dealt with things. Keeps me out of a bad head space if that makes sense. I may drop off for a few days, but my plan is to keep it up as long as I can.

Oh yeah! It was hard enough doing pre-clinical things while pregnant. I can't imagine the girls I'm in college with that actually do clinicals up until they deliver only to go back to it the second they get out of the hospital! I actually met one last fall while I was pregnant. Was being induced that night and would be back at school two days later because she literally had no choice since it was clinicals. It was part of the driving force in me taking spring and summer semesters off outside of the fact that I had my baby a few days after the semester started! Definitely enjoy our time together and I'm super grateful I'm not having to go back to work but I really miss adult converstations. Very Happy
