a lesson well taught

on Sat Sep 08, 2018 10:08 pm
She had been so caught up with her personal life, now that it included a child,  she was almost excluding time for her self and that was becoming unhealthy even for her. Work was work, which was pretty normal round about now, Except for the dragon that had to be dealt with, that was a difficult mission. Otherwise then that she was defiantly in a very good place right now in her life and that was a good.

Victoire today was not on auror duty or had a mission to do, so she was able to meet up with one of her sisters friends who had contacted her and wanted to speak her. So here she was waiting and she had already had gotten a cold drink to quench her thirst, while she looked around where she stood at the familiar sight of Diagon Alley as she kept eye out for her sister's friend arriving.

Victoire Weasley had always intimidated Selwyn just a tiny little bit. Maybe it was because she seemed to be more put together, more serious, than Dom. Maybe it was because Dom always talked about her like she could kill you with a look. Maybe it was because he'd dated Dominique when they were both just fourteen, and at fourteen, Selwyn had been the sort of boy your sister wrote home to your parents about. And not in a good way.

But after that conversation with Dominique, he kinda felt obliged to track down Victoire as well. He wasn't seriously going to suggest anything, but she was personable, like Dom. And she had inherited more of Fleur's traits. Or so it seemed to Selwyn. Maybe she could teach him to be personable as well.

Fortunately, the blonde stood out in the crowd. Selwyn didn't know if it was her or something about the way aurors were trained. To look like they were in charge even when they were off duty. Or maybe that was just him again. Projecting as usual.

"Victoire, how are you?"
