Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Character Situations Empty Character Situations

This is a variation on the Character Development game, started by Alyssa! Basically someone gives a scenario and you pick one or more of your characters and explain how they would react.

For example:
Your character is sick. How do they act?

Apollo would probably pretend it was nothing, unless he was around just Lily, Christian or Ace. Then he’d mope all he wants. Since he’s an apprentice at St. Mungo’s, the odds are actually pretty high, but at least he’d know how to fix it!

Christian, on the other hand, would just accept it, and seek help from a healer. Probably not Apollo, though.

SO! Here’s the first one:

Your character has misplaced their favorite thing (whatever it is). What’s their game plan?

He lost himself?

The thing he'd most hate to lose is his wand, and if he did he'd probably force someone to give him theirs and turn everything upside down trying to find it. Failing that, he'd send for a new one first chance and take out his frustration at losing it on the closest viable object/person. It might be one of the only situations where he'd get up and look for something himself rather than getting someone else to do it.

Your character is suddenly stranded due to a storm. How do they survive/escape/who do they rely on for help?

Character Situations Empty Re: Character Situations

Jack would probably prosper in this situation, she's done lots of camping and whatnot. Let's say she can't just apparate away for whatever reason. Go through rational steps - create bluebell flames to keep warm, make and reinforce some sort of shelter, set up a water collection system, hunker in, keep from going to crazy, prepare an exit strategy if needed. If she had any of the kiddos with her, that'd be a different story.

Your character is convicted of a crime and given the choice: lose your hands or lose your voice. What do they choose?
