"We think too much and feel too little."

She was feeling less and less like her usual self with every passing day, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

Anabelle Mulciber wasn't always a ray of sunshine, nor will she ever be, but that didn't mean that she couldn't be a brighter person than she usually was. Being the epitome of a killjoy with her pessimistic outlook on things made it seem like she just didn't care about anything a lot of the time. Though that wasn't exactly false, it wasn't true either. Hit cared, about a lot of things, she just never had a good way of showing that she did. Something always ended up going wrong, and since she thought she just had really bad luck when it came to being around people, she ended up acting like she didn't care who or what came near her.

Almost like she only tolerated them.

There were exceptions to these things, obviously. Like Cronis and Evander Yaxley, and Freyja Podmore. They proved multiple times that no matter how hairy things got in her life, she could count on them. But that didn't mean that she didn't feel like something would eventually happen to that friendship if she let herself get too close. Aside from being pessimistic, she was very cautious.

Thanks to Freyja's (a little too) outgoing personality, she's managed to get Hit out of her shell and gotten her to go out and enjoy days with her and the twins. She's even managed to get Hit to go to a party.

That was kind of mess, though.

Hit shook her head. She didn't want to think about that. That argument, though brief, with Apollo still got to her as much as she didn't want it to. She'd just come down from Gryffindor Tower to try and get back into her forgotten routine of visiting the lake every day, the last thing she needed was memories like that to get the best of her now. She'd wanted Freyja to come down to the grounds with her, but the other Gryffindor said she had something to do and so Hit left it at that. She didn't want to pry but she'd left the invitation there in case the other girl decided to show up later on. She would have asked Evander but she couldn't find the Ravenclaw anywhere so she thought he must have been cooped up in Ravenclaw Tower doing.. whatever it was he did.

The last person she needed on her case right now was Cronis, so she didn't really bother to ask him. Besides, the Slytherin had gotten sick just a few days before out of nowhere, and she didn't think she wanted to get sick so it was better to leave him be. As Hit walked down the sloping path, she could see the lake and she started to turn on the path to make a shortcut down to the edge of the water.

If you ask Dariela McLaggen does she know how complicated she is, she would probably think about the answer for a long time. She has her ups and downs, but does it really make her complicated?
And of course, she wouldn't even think about it if Darian didn't tell her that. According to his words, she was complicated as hell and even worse, he told her that she was the demon but she had a face like an angel.

That hurt, a lot.
Is that really what people think about her all the time?
She wasn't sure because, to be honest, she has a lot of friends.
She has friends here at Hogwarts and back at home as well.
Of course, some people hate her, but when you are on the top of the world, there will always be some pathetic, small people who will hate you, just because they want to be you.
And Dariela was fine with that.
After all, she was McLaggen pureblood witch, she doesn't have anything to be ashamed of.

But today, she decided to be alone.
It is hard to always be among the people when you don't know if they really like you or they just wants to be seeing among popular people.
She tried to realize who is her truly the friend, though, but she didn't succeed. Among her, everyone was just perfect friends.
And she was tired of that.
That is the reason why she was alone today.

She left the castle and stepped outside at the big ground that looked like if it wants to hug castle.
Inches and inches of green space were all around her and she had no idea where she wants to go. Maybe she should just walk and see where she will come and at the end.

In the distance, she was able to see Great Lake but she didn't want to go there.
Sitting and looking at the lake was Charlotte's thing, not her.
Speaking about the Charlotte, Dariela miss that outsider.
Once upon a time, Mia was Lottie's only friend, if we don't count Darian because he is around Lottie only because he likes her. Some would say that he loves her, pathetic as hell.
Now Charlotte obviously has a lot more friends because of that Zabini boy who she is dating.
Dariela can't understand that.
Hanging out with the half blood or muggle born, that was fine. But dating one was a scandal. How he would even say that to his poor parents, they would be devastated.

While she was walking, occupied with her own thoughts, she almost hit someone.
She looked at the girl and was able to see that Gryffindor girl, one of those who actually doesn't like Mia. To be honest, Mia had no idea what is about her that people can't love, she was perfect.
