Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. My biggest fear is to live this life without a story Empty My biggest fear is to live this life without a story

Post by Charlotte Waldorf Thu Mar 23, 2017 3:07 pm

Charlotte was acting like the teenage girl in the bad mood since she woke up this morning.
The reason was simple: It was the beautiful day and she was looking forward to spent the day with Christian but of course he had others things to do.
So, she decided that she would have the fun by herself.
Hell, she spent almost six years here as an outsider, she knows better than anyone how to survive day by herself.

She went to the Great Lake.
During the years Charlotte made that lake to be her shelter where she used to came whenever she needs to be alone. There was something peacefully about that lake wich made Charlotte feel calm.

But today she wasn't alone there, obviously.
Cassio something, Gryffindor girl was there.
Charlotte decided to approach her, only because she was that much angry because she was supposed to be alone.

"Hi. Mind if I sit next to you?" she looked at the girl with the smile written all over her face.

Cassiopeia was enjoying some fresh air outside. Today she didn't really feel like exploring things. So she was sitting near the lake and was enjoying how quiet it was there.

It was one of these days when she wanted to think or then just be alone. Even she seemed to have these days but not very often for sure.

She was sitting near the lake and was in her own thoughts so Gryffindor girl didn't notice that someone else had come here until the person did speak up.

She looked from the lake towards the person. IF she was right it was Charlotte, from Ravenclaw house.

"Hey," she said and thought if to say no or yes. "Don't really mind," she decided to say there.

"I am Charlotte. Charlotte Waldorf. I think we are the same year." Charlotte introduced herself even if Cassi probably know who she is. This is a big school but yet somehow everyone knows each other.
Probably because Hogwarts is something like the boarding school in Muggle's world. During the school year, they all live together here.

Cassi looked like she came here to enjoy in peace and quiet and Charlotte really tried to stay quiet but she was sure that she would start speaking somehow, in the end, it was just crazy to sit next to someone and don't say anything at all.

"So, how have you been lately?" That was probably the stupidest question ever but that was the start, after all.

"I'm Cassiopeia, Cassiopeia Cheshire. But you can call me Cassie or Cassi or Cas for short. Yeah, we are in the same year, just different houses," she said with a small smile. Barely anyone used her real name really since everyone seemed to use her short names of her name.

Of course, Cassie would have love to be alone but then again she didn't really have anything against of talking with someone for few minutes. So when they were both quiet then it took her some time to think about things again.

"I have been good. Life is always full of surprises for me. I guess my nature of adventures does that," she said there with a smile. "And what about you?" she asked. At least it wasn't anymore quiet and they did talk. Even if it was one of small talk questions basically and stupid one but then again it was start.

"Oh! I remember you" Charlotte smiled while looking at Gryffindor girl.
"We have some classes together, but anyway, it's nice to meet you Cassie," she recalled the classes where she was able to see this girl. Cassi wasn't really the outsider on the way Charlotte was, but even considering that Lottie never had the impression that girl has a lot of friends.
But maybe she was wrong, it wouldn't be the first time. That's all about Ravenclaw's intelligence.

Charlotte frowned thinking about the answer for Cassi's question. How was she? Was she happy? What was she doing? Was it okay if she says anything about Christian?

Once when she was finally done with overanalyzing things, she looked at Cassie again.

"I am fine. I am still getting used to the fact that I am not an outsider anymore. Especially since I am with Christian. It seems that everyone started talking with me over night" she said honestly and shrugged.

Cassiopeia smiled. She really couldn't say she remembered the other girl but the again she barely remembered anyone who she didn't talk much.
"Oh yes we have had classes together for sure," she agreed with that.

Cassie had quite many friends, yes but that didn't mean she was close or good friends with them all. She just was good at making friends and being active and friendly helped it too. She just was always someone who seemed to like the attention she gets most of the time.

"Oh. Not sure why they didn't do it before and suddenly now. I don't really care that much who is dating who," she said there. It was true. She wasn't really into other people lives that much. "Well, anyways good luck with all that attention. It can be overwhelming or what was the word. Even for me, it is at times. So it's one of the reasons why I'm here alone today," she added.

Someone may wonder how Charlotte knows everyone since she didn't really talk to others. But the thing was, if she was an outsider, that doesn't immediately mean she doesn't know other people from her school.
It was all one big stereotype.

"Yes, but I can't say that I am sure if you are Hufflepuff or Gryffindor," Charlotte said and looked at the girl once again.

"That is how it should be." She frowned while thinking about Cassie's words. It really was how it should be but Cassie seemed to be the only one who didn't care. Charlotte felt the difference the morning after that Valentine's Day party.
People started saying hi to her or talk in the hallways and all of that was strange to her.

"I like this place. I come here every time I need to be alone. Here everything was just... peaceful" She smiled and looked at the lake.

Cassiopeia barely knew by faces who someone was unless she have talked the person couple of times before and they are friends. So many try to think they are friends if they have talked just once or twice and very short time. Don't really know each other at all.

"I'm Gryffindor. Oh even if yeah sorting hat considered even Hufflepuff. Then again Slytherin and Ravenclaw too. I guess I'm too complicated to figure out even to sorting hat," she said with a small smile. She loved her house for sure and she actually liked Gryffindor house.

"You're Ravenclaw right?" she asked there now about her house to be sure. She probably remembers that somewhere.

"Oh well. I have never paid much attention who is dating who. Not my business really. Unless when I myself date with someone then that is my business. I'm single and I like it so far," she said. Actually, she wanted to date but then again it would mean that people get to know her secret even if some people already suspect for sure.

"Yeah, I liked to come here alone too. When I need it. Here is yes very peaceful," she agreed with this.

Charlotte smiled at Cassi's word and then, finally nodded.
"Yes, I am Ravenclaw. That is the only house the hat said. I guess I am not complicated at all" she shrugged and thought where she should be if she asked the hat not to put her at Ravenclaw. Maybe Slytherin. She was ambitious so maybe she would fit there. But then again, she wasn't sassy and mean at all. Even if some says Slytherins are not mean, she wasn't sure. How could she?

"That is the good thing. But I guess you are the only one." Charlotte gave her a smile and she did her best to look nonchalantly but she probably didn't succeed.

"It is just... strange. I like to be alone, and now everyone wants to be my friend. And that is because of Christian. And I don't really like it" she admitted and throw one rock in the lake".

"This is beautiful place to come to be alone" she admitted and looked at the lake.

Cassiopeia has always been someone who doesn't judge people easily. She wants to know them first. So was today too.

"I guess not everyone are so complicated than me. I have always have had very difficult personality," she said there with a small smile. She wasnt really mean one but she could be sarcastic one at times. She had very many other traits in her.

"Well I guess. Like I said not my business really," she said there with a small smile. She had never really been someone pays attention to many things around her what didn't really relate to her.

"Yeah that attention can be annoying," she agreed with it.

"It is for sure. Even if it doesn't hurt to meet here some new people and make friends at times," Cassie said with a small smile.
