Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Goose felt stupid having to explain the plants, though he realized he probably looked even more ridiculous taking them for a moonlit stroll. He was operating on instinct alone as it was, but his Herbological instinct typically proved to be right. He was attentive with his plants, making up for the distance he tried to keep with his peers. Plants were easy to read and easy to understand and could typically be counted upon.

With these two as exceptions.

He figured keeping the girls talking to each other would only serve him better, and he glanced towards the second year, catching his lip before he said, "I think they bloom best in moonlight. And they need more room - they don't seem to like the pots. I'm gonna try moving them out into the forest."

Darcy half-shrugged dramatically, to show what she thought of all this.

"No, y' don't get it," she complained. "They're not just stories, they're like... backstory."

Obviously, people who'd been brought up in the Wizarding World got so used to the weirdness, they just stopped noticing after a while. Probably to their detriment.

"Do you just not read books?" she asked. "Or watch TV? Or play video games?"

She knew the last two were unlikely. An Introduction to the Wizarding World had been very emphatic on how electricity didn't work near magic. Almost like they were proud.

"Everyone knows that when a location has a name like The Forbidden Forest, you're going to end up there eventually. And when there are stories about The Forbidden Forest, you're almost certainly going to meet whatever those stories are about," she lectured.

"So you'd better hurry up and tell us them, because monsters doesn't sound promising."

She eyed Goose. Their tour guide, maybe? Well, hopefully this was just a small mission to level up, so to speak, and they wouldn't have to kill any zombies before it was over.
