Ilvermorny Trickster

Hihi. This is Scarlett. She is quite sneaky in that she looks like she's your friend, and sometimes she'll act like it, but she's got a particularly unsavory idea of what she wants to do in the future - including tricking as many Muggles as possible out of money and whatever else. So your students might hate her lots, and that's okay. Or they might not get how conniving she is. Particularly the new Hoggies students. It could be kind of fun to give her a rival at Ilvermorny and then have some poor, unwitting student from Hogwarts think she's great and some sort of tension arise from that. I've started an open thread in the Ilvermorny Grounds section if anyone wants to jump in there, or we can plot something out

Hi Addie! I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a thread with either Kasey or my new character Leo (or both)? All three of them are in the same year at Ilvermorny so have probably had something to do with each other before.

Since both of them, Leo in particular, are so well known for tricks and practical jokes they might be able to give Scarlett some ideas on tricking people, particularly muggles. Kasey probably wouldn't want much to do with Scarlett if she found out she was intending to trick people for money in the future, Leo on the other hand wouldn't agree with the idea but also wouldn't care too much since his main concerns are about his sister.

Hey! I'd definitely be up for something with them. I don't know how vocal Scarlett is about her intentions. Right now, she's probably only told a couple of people, so if she's particularly close to them (which would actually be kind of cute, them running about as a trio if he wants to watch out for Kasey and making a mess XD ) she may decide it's time to let them know.

Also, once things start to get worse at Ilvermorny (since right now food and lights are all messed up), her father is probably going to get involved (one of Eli's characters and an awful Death Eater at that), they might decide it isn't really worth hanging with her. Or they could use it to their advantage. Whatever strikes your fancy when that comes up.

Equally, I was reading his Ilvermorny History section and it might be kind of interesting for Scarlett to develop some sort of crush on him, and Kasey figure it out first maybe? Because if he's so focused on his sister he might not notice.

That sounds like a great idea, the three of them running around causing all sorts of trouble. If she had a crush on Leo that would be kind of cute and he really would have no idea but Kasey would definitely keep trying to push them together.

When it comes to the plot later in the Rp I think their reactions will depend entirely on their relationship with Scarlett at the time.

Super! If you have an idea for where to start, let me know. It's pretty late here so I'm having trouble thinking of anything straight away. But I'll think on it in case!

Also, since we're chatting plots, if you want anything with Aideen and Apollo, let me know. I think their dynamic in the house meeting thread is really interesting. It could also tick off Sel's character if they wanted to play with that sort of thread. It's been ages since we've had any sort of rivals going at each other, so maybe there's a possibility for that here.

Aideen is basically designed to have rivals xD I would love to keep the rivalry between Cly and Aideen going and I think a thread between Apollo and Aideen could also be interesting. Especially since Aideen has now decided to try and get Apollo into a Qudditch captain position (even if he doesn't want it) simply just annoy Sel's character. Did you have an idea of where to start with a thread between them?

As for the Ilvermorny students, I have a few ideas of where we can start:
1) Kasey convinces Scarlett to come explore one of the dark hallways to try and figure out why the laterns aren't working anymore. Leo tags along because he wants to make sure Kasey doesn't do anything too reckless.
2) Leo decides things need livening up at Ilvermorny and sets some exploding powder bombs off in the main courtyard.
3) They could always start off in one of the classes and see how that goes.

Re: Apollo, he typically would go burn off stress by practicing or just flying around the stadium since they're allowed to do so in that area of the grounds. But I think that, with the whole competition for captain thing going down, he'd be wary of going out there because it might look like he cares more than he does. So he's probably getting stir-crazy at some point. It could be interesting to maybe start them in their dorm or something and then we could just use that thread as we go. But if she's irritated that he hasn't been practicing or something, would she maybe approach him about it?

And I really like the idea of checking out the lanterns. Maybe Kasey suggested it and Scarlett tagged along, all curious, but then there comes Leo and she's suddenly not sure what to do lol.

That sounds like a good place to start with Aideen and Apollo. Well if he is going a little stir crazy and it's starting to annoy her she would outright confront him about why he doesn't just go to the quidditch pitch. Otherwise she would try to subetly encourage him to practice, since she's now being roped into tryouts she may do so by asking him to help her practice for the tryouts.

Ah yes, Quidditch tryouts…that will certainly be interesting. Aideen isn’t much good at flying so feel free to have Clytemnestra pick on her for that point in particular.
