Shelf Space

on Tue Feb 09, 2016 8:42 pm
With space on the library shelves scarce, the characters of your most beloved genres are banding together into gangs to secure their books' places - and their lives.

Welcome to Shelf Space, where:

  • The Headless Horseman torments Johnny Cade...
  • ... and Mr. Hyde shoves people off of bookshelves...
  • ... while Elizabeth Bennet and Professor McGonagall can enjoy a cup of tea together...
  • ... days after horror characters release bats into the library...
  • ... and aliens ignore it to mingle with comic book creatures...
  • ... while spies infiltrate other genre gangs...
  • ... because "sabotage" is the name of the game.

Plots | Groups | We're seeking...

We've just celebrated our first birthday!

Shelf Space is a small site with dedicated players and ample opportunity for plots. We have an overarching site-wide plot that acts as a frame for our personal plots. We also have group sub-plots waiting to be unlocked! Almost every month we have a mini-event, and there are numerous proper events eagerly waiting for a few more members to join.

Check out our want ads, or app a book or comic character you love. Stick them into one of our seven gangs, and let them battle to protect their genre's shelf space!

  • Anecdotes [General fiction]
  • Detectives [Mystery]
  • Fantoms [Fantasy]
  • Profs [Sci-Fi]
  • Sketches [Comics, Web comics]
  • Terrors [Horror]
  • Thrills & Chills [Thriller, Suspense]

Or, if a gang really isn't up your character's ally, why not have them be Unaffiliated? Perhaps they can stop the wars, or at least prevent those poor New Book characters from being tricked into joining a gang.

The possibilities are endless, and we can't wait to see what you come up with!
