Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Winged victory Empty Winged victory

"Think I'm gonna be sick." Hayley was sitting in Chris' living room, playing with his dog. "Okay, move your ass buddy, aunty is leaving." She kissed him in the snout then got up and started packing her things. Christian was standing in front of them, leaning against the wall. He was eating pizza when Hayley suddenly jumped. She throw her purse and run out of the room covering her mouth with hands.
'Gross', Christian mumbled before returning to his meal. He ate it in few bites, just when Hayley came back from the bathroom. "You look like crap." he smiled thought it wasn't funny at all.
"Supportive as always." she rolled her eyes, took her bag and headed to the door. "Ciao bro, see ya!" without turning she walked out. Chris waved though she couldn't saw him.

Not long after that, Christian fell asleep. He woke up few hours later, only to find out that he's sick. Screw you, virus. He was too weak to get out of bed so he was just rolling for hours. He was burning up but instead of taking some medicine he eventually made himself a potion. However, he must have been in very bad shape since the potion didn't worked. It only made him feel worse so he concluded that he mixed wrong ingredients.
It's been a long day, and so was the next one. He wasn't feeling any better. He fell asleep in the living room. Had no idea how he ended up there but he did. For the first time after so many nights, Christian O'Sullivan was dreaming. And dream...it was more like a memory. It was one actually.

June, 2024, Paris, Montmartre.
Young couple is walking down the boulevard, holding hands, watching shop windows. Well, at least she is. He is secretly watching her, admiring her personality and her beauty, wondering how did he ended up next to her. She is happy and so is he. Her cheeks blushed when he put his hand around her waist, she nervously bit her lip but she enjoyed his touch. She shivered when he touched her lips but what she didn't know was that he was as excited as she was. He kissed her passionately, like it was their first time thought they both lost count. He loved how she makes him feel, always excited, always wanting more and more.
They were laughing loudly, living in the happy bubble, believing they will be together forever. The girl noticed one antique shop on the corner. The couple walked in. It was small, overcrowded, and yet the girl managed to find that one special thing. It was small, rounded, golden brooch. For some reason she loved it and the boy had no idea what was so special about it. But as long as she's happy, he doesn't really care. However, they left the shop empty handed. Because of him. He made a promise to her. The one that made her even happier. He made a promise that he never achieved.

Christian opened his eyes. He knew what he needed to do. He got up, ignoring the pain in his head and the one in his spine (he slept in really bad position) and went upstairs to the attic. He knew it was there. It must've been there. In some box, somewhere. He started looking, and looking, and looking. and eventually, he found it. His father's collection of old brooches. The one he needed was right in the middle.
In center of golden ring, not bigger than golf ball, was headless woman with wings. She looked just like Greek goddess Nike, just like the sculpture from the Louvre, though this one had arrows. There was also the green snake around her leg. It was forming the letter S, like Sierra. It was made by Chris' mother who gave it to his father on their wedding. And now, since Thomas' memory is changed, it feels right to do what he's about to do.
He went down into a living room, holding brooch tight in his hand. He found a piece of paper and a pen though he had no idea what to write. at the end, only one word was written down. 'Remember'.
He put the paper and the brooch in the envelope, attached it to the leg of his owl and let the bird flew away. He was standing next to the window, watching the owl disappearing in the distance.

A brooch. The brooch, that is, yet Nymeria Evanesco had no idea what to do with it. It came with a note and a single word written in cursive. Even if there wasn't a note, an owl that carried the package, she knew who the sender was. Christian. It was a brooch with Sierra's amblem, and Sierrras were his family, besides the only other member of Sierra family she knew was Christian's brother, and Sebastien O'Sullivan would rather die than send her a single letter. Hell, he'd probably strangle his brother if he knew what she just got. She's not going to keep it, she decided as she searched for her boots, flipped them on and took the package, using a spell to close the package again. The brooch had sentimental value for Christian, and as such it was just too much.

"O'Sullivan, open the damn door!" Standing in the hallway for half an hour and freezing wasn't how she thought she'll spend her afternoon, yet there was she, in the hallway of an apartment he rented in the middle of nowhere with a package in his hand and a wand in her other hand. Nymeria heard noise inside and she shifted from foot to foot hoping Christian finally heard her and that he's on his way to the door. Five. Ten. Fifteen. Twenty. Thirty. No one opened the door. She pouted and raise her wand making a quick movement and whispering 'Alohomora'. Her lips parted in a smile as she heard soft click and pushed the door open, hoping she won't regret for unlocking them. "Christian, I'm coming in!" She called from the door than stepped in his apartment, silently closing the door behind her.
