BODY BUILD: Athletic

Apollo has dark hair that he grows out longer than Daphne really likes, but it suits him well. It's not as curly as his brother's, possibly because the length weighs it down. It hasn't been short since before his Hogwarts years. His eyes are just as dark as his hair, and tend to pierce those around when he's upset or frustrated. His stern look is well known and given often, involving the bringing together of his eyebrows and thinning his mouth into a line. He's just slightly taller than his twin, and slightly more athletic in body type. His only scars come from small accidents as a child or during Quidditch practice or games. They're all minimal and essentially invisible unless someone knows precisely where to look on his hands or shins.

His chin is most always lifted, even if he is put out. Especially when he feels affronted or is in a position where he needs to be in control or in charge. Similarly, he's often over-dressed, which is probably the biggest difference from his brother. Most anyone can tell them apart because he's almost never seen in just shorts and a tee. It's almost always button-ups and slacks, even when he doesn't have anything he is meant to do that day.

BOGGART: Not living up to expectations, as obvious as that might sound.

VERITASERUM: Apollo wishes he was actually Christian.

MIRROR OF ERISED: To be allowed to pursue the career he wants, rather than the one Blaise wants for him.

“ENTJs are decisive. They see what needs to be done, and frequently assign roles to their fellows. Few other types can equal their ability to remain resolute in conflict, sending the valiant (and often leading the charge) into the mouth of hell. When challenged, the ENTJ may by reflex become argumentative. Alternatively (s)he may unleash an icy gaze that serves notice: the ENTJ is not one to be trifled with.

ENTJs have a natural tendency to marshall and direct. This may be expressed with the charm and finesse of a world leader or with the insensitivity of a cult leader. The ENTJ requires little encouragement to make a plan.

ENTJs are often "larger than life" in describing their projects or proposals. This ability may be expressed as salesmanship, story-telling facility or stand-up comedy. In combination with the natural propensity for filibuster, our hero can make it very difficult for the customer to decline.

"Unequivocating" expresses the resoluteness of the ENTJ's dominant function. Clarity of convictions endows these Thinkers with a knack for debate, or wanting knack, a penchant for argument. The light and heat generated by Thinking at the helm can be impressive; perhaps even overwhelming. Experience teaches many ENTJs that restraint may often be the better part of valor, lest one find oneself victorious but alone.

The auxiliary function explores the blueprints of archetypal patterns and equips Thinking with a fresh, dynamic sense of how things work. Improvising on the fly is something many ENTJs do very well.

ENTJs have an awareness of the real; of that which exists. They often focus on the Here and Now, rather than things that could be dreamt up.

Feeling in this type appears most authentic when implied or expressed covertly in a firm handshake, accepting demeanor, or act of sacrifice thinly covered by excuses of lack of any personal interest in the relinquished item.”

Family Home: English countryside. About an hour away from the Northeastern coast, the home is far too large for four people, but Blaise is rather set on it and moving isn’t much of an option. Daphne seems to enjoy it for the view, as it’s set on ground that is higher than the area heading towards the nearest town, and Christian likes it for its spare rooms and vast yard. Apollo seems about as interested in the place as Blaise is in giving it up.

Summer Home: Murano, Italy. The Zabinis own a building on the only beach on the island. They also have purchased one of the main glass-making facilities on the island (which is what Murano is famous for).

Early Years:

The parents had known for some time that the twins would be boys and one of them would end up the heir to the Zabini line. Whether or not Daphne liked it hardly seemed to matter. She knew full well what the standards were for pureblooded families, and she wasn’t about to go back on it just because she had twins. Other families had had twins before and one had ended up as the lesser of the two sons. Thus, when Blaise took to Apollo but not to Christian, Daphne knew she had been correct: The elder of the two boys would be their father’s favorite and end up with the job of running the family like Blaise did.

Apollo supposed, even from an early age, that he was either lucky or cursed. While Apollo was chided for things that Christian never was, and when the other boy would get laughs and adventures with their mother, Apollo was told to stay in and learn about the family history or about the expectations of his future role. This began long before Apollo can actually remember. For all he knows, it was always that way.

The older twin was the second to learn the basic skills that children learned, where Christian seemed to zoom ahead – or so Apollo is told. Blaise had a habit of bringing it up, though Apollo assumed it was just a way to get him to work harder. It worked, to some extent, until the boys went to school.

Hogwarts Years: Apollo was sorted, as expected, into Slytherin House just minutes before Christian was sorted into Hufflepuff, surprising everyone. Especially Apollo. But, knowing that Blaise might be upset about it, he immediately took to trying to convince their father that Christian was suited to the house and that it wouldn’t matter to anyone in their circle of peers. In the end, the younger twin didn’t hear much about it, which was good. Blaise was clearly pleased about Apollo’s sorting, and continued to be happy about the level of success his heir found in his school work.

The brothers worked on Quidditch skills together, which was one of the few times they actually bonded. Most often, though, Apollo distanced himself in order to keep from saying anything to Christian about his distaste for his lot in life. The jealousy was there throughout their years at Hogwarts, and will likely remain until Apollo finds a place for himself.

The boys became more and more distant once Christian found his group of friends and stuck to spending time with them. It was disappointing, to some extent, for the elder brother, who had not intended to cause a rift between them. He blamed Christian part of the time, but couldn’t begrudge him his friends. Apollo, on the other hand, was more likely to keep to himself and his studies.

Even still, when OWLs coming around, Apollo has been so concerned with Christian’s accident and questioning his time on the Slytherin team that he isn’t focused come test time. All he is really thinking about is the summer trip that he'll be able to go on to get away from Hogwarts and everything that has been going on. It isn’t that he doesn’t like the school, but rather that he’s so used to being around his father and doing what is expected of him. Because of that, he often searches for things to fill time, unable to stand idleness. More often, he just feels restless.
