Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

ooc: I'm setting this like.. A month and a bit ahead so Avery is actually "allowed" to drink again xD

Avery was trying. For Gavin's sake, she would continue trying until it worked and she an Audriana were the dearest of friends as she was with Gavin. It wasn't her fault, though, that the husband and wife were late. After five minutes, she had pulled out the phone she had convinced Robin to let her buy (along with one for him) and started scanning through. At ten minutes, a frown had crossed her face as she grew bored of her game and put her phone away. She didn't really mean to direct her annoyed look at the people around, but it happened all the same. People watching was sufficient until twenty minutes had passed.

Thoroughly disappointed - but unable to be truly angry at her long-time friend - Avery moved to sit at the bar and at least get herself something while she waited. It hit her too late that she had not consumed alcohol for upwards of nine months, and she was no longer certain what her game plan would be. Deciding to just go ahead with it, Avery requested a scotch and tucked her purse between her back and the upright part of the barstool. Leaning back, her hair fell past her shoulder and she turned her attention to the Puddlemere United match, easily spotting Ross.

Watching in silence, she ignored the pair of men sitting a couple stools down, even when they directed comments her way. They reminded her too much of the old versions of Keiran and Robin, and she didn't want to wonder what about them was still like these men. If any parts of their old selves would now make her cringe.

With her thoughts jumping to Robin, Avery had to wonder after him, as well as their daughter. She didn't doubt that her husband could keep the house from burning down, but they both were so new at this. It was her first evening away from Ariadne, and as reluctant as she had been to leave, Robin had convinced her to visit with her friends. And now, of course, they were not here.

Sighing heavily, Avery knocked back another gulp of the whiskey sat before her, and turned back to watching the match with as much attention as she could muster for it.
