BOGGART: Her greatest fear is that her father is actually a monster. When she is faced with a boggart, the boggart takes on the form of her father baring his teeth, hands restrained in shackles, trying to attack her.

PATRONUS: She could not identify a single memory she considers to be fondest. She enjoys the times of the past, hours spent studying and then exploring, before eating magnificently in her grand dining room with her father. These were the days when her father was home and she was consumed by loneliness. She has not yet learned how to produce a Patronus, but the few attempts she has made revealed the creature to have long ears, so she believes it will be a rabbit. In fact her Patronus is a caribou, the animal associated with the personal, spiritual journey. Caribou people are often sensitive to the energy around them and live “between two worlds.”

DEMENTOR: Something about the talk she had with her father before she came to Hogwarts has stuck with her. Though the memory itself is not bad, it has unsettled her terribly.

VERITASERUM: Her father is a monster - this is something she is beginning to believe but won't let herself fully believe either.

MIRROR OF ERISED: To feel normal. If she were to stand before the Mirror of Erised, she would be standing hand and hand with her father (Orpheus) and her mother, smiling friends behind her.

MOTTO: “Things happen to me. I don’t make things happen.”

PERSONALITY TYPE: INFJ -
Introvert - 78%.  You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion
Intuitive - 12%. You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
Feeling - 25%.  You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking.
Judging - 67%. You have distinct preference of Judging over Perceiving.

PERSONALITY: Fiona's default expression is one of mild concern. At school, she works hard in classes and enjoys studying. She likes looking into subjects that challenge her because it keeps her focused and busy. She is not one to approach people, but it is not impossible for her to muster the courage to approach someone. She is generally shy though, and her soft manner of speaking reflects this. She typically acts out of necessity, speaking and changing only when it is needed. She is motivated by a need to protect her self, but will act to protect others if she sees unjustice or cruelty that is unjustified and unhecked. She does not like being pushed to this, however. She is incredibly loyal but this loyalty often gets her into trouble. Loyalty and trust in her friends have often put her into situations she would not normally allow herself into. And despite her feelings on her father's lifestyle, she cannot bring herself to doubt the family that has always been so good to her. Fiona is always trying to reason things out to ensure that her life is safe and good, but it worries her that she might, by nature, be bred into evil. Her condition as a vampire frightens her and she frets about hurting people.

CHARACTER HISTORY
------------------------------------------------------------

Early Years: “Hello, madame, I’m so sorry to interrupt your evening. My car just broke down, and I was hoping to use your phone.”

“Oh, yes, of course.”

The polite, handsome stranger remained on the doorstep, looking a bit timid. It was dark outside, lightning flashing in the storm. Lenora gave him an odd look, though the kindness in her face could never disappear. “Well, come on in then.”

The man smiled a wide, hungry smile. “Just waiting for the invitation.”

Orpheus Grimm rarely had a kill go so horribly wrong. He was close to ancient, after all, nearing his 100th birthday, with the looks and charm of a man half that age. The kill, itself, went off spectacularly. The woman was not dispatched first, but both adults were tied up. He had mistaken the woman’s screams for Fiona for the maid, but not maid ever came. He first kissed the woman, sensually moving to her neck, before draining her of the red liquid that was her life force. Not fully, of course, because he did not think her vampire material. Enough to kill, but not enough to empty her. As she died on the ground, he brutally drank from her husband, biting here and there, making a right mess. Only once he was dead did the woman manage to strength to beg.

“Don’t kill Fiona. Please.”

He finished the woman off and climbed the stairs to find the last thing he expected. A child, standing quietly in her crib. He had never felt guilt before in any of his kills, but the large blue eyes of this child awakened something within him very different than before. His accomplice Norman arrived to help with the bodies and still, Orpheus was staring at the child. When Norman asked if he should take on the disposal of the child, Orpheus assured him otherwise. He found all the documents necessary to adopt her and gave his friend a cheeky grin once Fiona was settled in with him.

“Here’s the heir you keep pestering me to acquire.”

And that was how Fiona became a vampire princess of sorts. She was moved into Orpheus’ large manor home in the country, given everything she wanted, and turned into a vampire before she even entered school. She forgot her parents easily, having little memory of them, and was raised to believe she was the half vampire daughter of Orpheus. She was turned when she was four, having given her father consent after being regaled with tales of the magnificence that vampirism brought. Fiona was very happy and remained untainted by the evil beneath her feet. For in the basement of the manor home lay the victims of Orpheus’ and Norman’s cruelty. Dungeons held unwilling blood donors, and the rooms that did not have live victims held the dead ones.

On the main floor, however, Orpheus was raising a princess. The man could return from a day of killing and make his daughter her favorite meal and then play Knights and Ladies with her. Her chamber room was huge and constantly full of her heart’s desires. Her best friends were her father and her father’s best friend, her uncle Norman. A tutor was brought in at an early age and she was raised to be very studious. She learned French and Latin, astronomy, literature, arithmetic and other fine subjects. There was always blood in the house, chilled in the freezer. Her tutor was paid enough to keep his mouth shut. Orpheus’ large money supply came from an obscure job in finances. One of the protectors of Gringotts, he would explain. His great wealth came from this, and from the long period he spent alive. It helped, too, that his parents had been rich.

When Fiona was nine, Orpheus explained to her why she lacked a mother. He informed her that he had very much loved her mother, that he had never even been tempted to drain or turn her, but that she had always let him feed on her. Their dependency blossomed into love and they married, and then came Fiona. During childbirth, her mother faded fast. Orpheus tried to save her by turning her but it was too late. The idea of losing Fiona one day was unbearable, so he turned her once she was old enough to agree. Fiona did not doubt him. He still wore his wedding ring, after all. How was she to know it was her biological father’s ring?

Fiona did grow up a little lonely. There was no one her age, after all, and she did not go to school. Besides her father, Norman, various vampires her father associated with, and her tutor, the girl had no company. Her father bought her a songbird named Joan, and a cat named Napolean, but these were no comparison to human interaction. When she got her Hogwarts letter, she was ecstatic. It meant entering a society of sorts. It meant children her age. It meant more studies.

Her father sat her down to explain the finer points of school. He explained exactly what they, as vampires, were to the other students. They were superior. They were scary. The talk traumatized Fiona. She began to realize exactly what it meant for them to have an unlimited supply of blood. Despite the beginnings of her doubts, she assured her father that she understood and that she loved him and that all of his secrets were safe with her. And besides... he bought her an owl in congratulations. The daddy that bought pets for milestones was not the sort of daddy you accused of murder... even if that's sort of exactly what it sounded like he did.

Hogwarts Years: Fiona entered Hogwarts and did not assimilate easily. She was sorted, she attended her classes. She had waited so long to make friends and now she was too afraid to, for fear that they would find her to be a monster, that they would be afraid of her. During her first year, the only person she could call a friend was a boy who insisted he be called Ducky. He was the one who coined the name Finn and he often did what he could to reach out to her. It was not quite enough.

It wasn't until her third year that Ducky forced Finn to accompany him to the lake. It was then that she met the others who would become her closest friends - Tris, Dylan, Nora to name a few. Fiona remained on the fringes, never offering much, but always joining them. She kept a secret flask of blood on her at all times, provided by the school, and tried to keep it a secret. Her father was telling her more and more all the time, continually calling her his heiress, beginning to detail some of his latest conquests. Most of her accepted it, because it was in her nature to desire blood, and she had been raised among destruction. Still... the gentleness of her new friends brought her father's actions into such stark contrast.

Ducky and Nora found out that she was a vampire. She fed them lies about how it happened, making herself into the victim, leaving out the part about who her father was, and how they constantly had vampires over. The accepted her because, as Ducky put it, "we love you Finn-face." Fiona was beginning to feel normal. If she could just think of a good enough excuse for why her friends could not visit, she would have few worries while in school.

It just didn't seem right to say "You can't come over because my dad would drink you dry."

Jack,

I like her a lot b/c she's so different with a very different history. She strikes me as more of a Hufflepuff for a number of reasons. She could works as a Ravenclaw, I suppose, but I think she's a better Huffle.

Thoughts?
