Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Claire does not, but Elsie is always telling her what her horoscope predicts. Her personality strikes a certain chord with Geminis, but there are marked differences.

Your character can control the free will of one person for one hour. Who do they choose, and what do they do?

Jack. Pure public humiliation.

What animal best represents your character and/or what form does their patronus take?

Though Jack's patronus is a wolfhound, she is more like a lion. When she was young, she was more akin to a jackal, and her patronus was just that. But as she's gotten older, she has more and more resembled a tired old lion - lording over her pride with intensity, but absolutely exhausted when she has free time. And you should see her hunt.

What is something your character struggles with every day? Something that they have to work through on a daily basis.

Matt lately has had to deal with recurring memories from last year. Stuff that he had mostly successfully avoided during his year away. However as he adjusts back to his regular boring old life he doesn't have as many distractions.

What is your character's weirdest food craving?

Probably vanilla ice cream with deeply fried and also quite salty french fries. The deliciousness!

What is the most precious/expensive/important thing your character has ever broken?

The law? People out of jail? XD Breaking out the Ministry law usurpers cost Jack thousands. Besides that... she helped burn a house down. So...

Exiled to a deserted island - pick three people to take with you! They will be taken well care of while there.

I think Jack listens to a lot of 80s and 90s music. Like, her stereo is always on this station with a cheesy DJ blasting classics.

Most embarrassing thing in your character's home?

Nate brought an embarrassing amount of childhood memoribelia from New York. He's got pictures of his parents up and his old teddy bear is in a closet somewhere.

If money was not a factor, what would your characters dream home look like and where would it be?

His home right now. Razz

Okay, no. I think Eli wants something simple. He always has. He'd either want his studio flat back in Paris again with its tall windows and little balconies and paint on every surface. Or he'd want a little cottage buried in the countryside somewhere, again probably in France, where he could just be.

When your character is scared and alone, where does s/he go or who does s/he go to?
