Hogwarts: The New Ages

January 2020: The Muggle economy fell to levels of despair. Muggle supporters took the initiative to save the world by helping family, friends, and neighbors; it was soon discovered by Muggles that Wizarding coins could be melted down and sold for a great profit. No one asked questions and just took it for granted the coins were a man-made discovery, a blessing for those in dire need.

Not long after, Muggles learned the best kept secret on earth... Magic was real.

July 2020: A small group of nameless magical folk decided the secret had been kept long enough and organized a rally on the streets of London; it was time to reveal to the world what most did not know. By walking into a large crowd of Muggles, the Wizards showed their powers and handed out unauthorized portkeys, warning every Muggle who received one to not let go. Minutes before the Ministry arrived to stop the display, eleven Muggles disappeared, only to reappear in large media capitals throughout the world. The word spread as expected; every news station, paper, magazine, and internet source immediately began running the story. After all, how else could the sudden appearance be accounted for, and how could eleven sources, individually secluded, be wrong?

Ministers of Magic, world-wide, met with Muggle world leaders. A discussion ensued. Could the magical leaders successfully wipe clean the memories of so many Muggles? Pretend the incident never happened? Something on this large of a scale had never been attempted before, so was it safe? A vote is cast and it's decided to be too risky. Wizards and Muggles will have to learn how to live together.

January 2021: Tensions on both sides are rising. Muggles live in fear of the Wizarding-kind, blaming the Wizarding World for everything in their past, present, and future. How was the west truly won? Was World War II caused by evil Muggles or Wizards? Is there more than what's being told to them? Some Muggles have become addicted to the source of income Wizards have provided. A few are even accepted into the Wizarding World as daily co-workers. But can they be trusted?

What of the Witches and Wizards? They now live in fear, too. Will their neighbors drop by to beg for loose change, potions and spells to rid them of their troubles? Attempt to destroy their homes? Threaten their families? What about the Goblins rebelling against the misuse of Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts? Are family fortunes safe anymore?

June 2022: Ministries of Magic are working to bridge gaps between the Wizarding World and the Muggle, but is what they're doing right for all involved? Muggle tour groups are wandering through the British Ministry of Magic and Diagon Alley. Wizarding celebrities are joining forces with Muggles, selling merchandise and getting their music out there. The Quidditch World Cup even invites select Muggles to watch the game, courtesy of the Italian Ministry.

Present: New organizations are on the rise, but do they aim for the greater good, or evil? And more important, will you be there to discover the truth?
