The ministry awards the Order of Merlin honour to exceptional acts by wizards and witches. There is Order of Merlin first class, second class and third class. The current wizards and witches honoured by the award are: Ne'os Emof - Order of Merlin First class for defeating the Dark Lord Kingsley Shacklebolt - Order of Merlin First Class for his defense of Hogwarts from the death eaters.
